He was accurate with the football all weekend during the Shootout of the South Tournament. He is able to fit the ball into some tight windows and did a good job of throwing his receivers open. Miller is off to another strong off season, and I look for that trend to continue into the upcoming season. He has the ability to cut the run to the outside and is a nightmare to bring down when he gets into the open field. Reed is another running back that does not have any trouble of carrying the ball between the tackles. His ability as a young player to stay patient behind the line as the play develops and then to transition that patience into a quick burst of acceleration when hitting his holes is amazing to watch. His patience transitions into using his downfield blocks cleanly and not outrunning his help in the open field. Stephenson has impressive speed and does a good job of allowing a rushing lane to develop. He has a second gear when he gets into the open field. Stephenson is extremely elusive and has a knack for being able to break out of tackles. In the passing game, Stephenson has the speed to stretch the opposing defense deep. He has incredible concentration skills when in traffic, which allows him to limit the distractions and come down with impressive receptions. He has a great early understanding of how to high-point the ball and use his body leverage to create advantages for him in traffic. His fundamentals overall are very impressive, Turic has perfected the art of the open field breakdown before making elite plays before ball carriers can use their agility to cause a missed tackle.
