Zach Harrison
Zach Harrison
I have talked about the Harrison brothers from Bishop O’Connell before but since then they have continued to make headwaves. Zach may have close to 50 receptions this fall for the Knights but where I think he can excel at the next level will be at safety. Just under 6’0 with good speed and hands, love the way he navigates from his safety position whether it be a run or pass play. Sporting a healthy 3.8 GPA, Harrison is starting to get the attention of schools such as Emory & Henry and Lafayette College. He is an FCS caliber player already, with a good senior season, he may destined for even higher.

Nathan Harrison
Nathan Harrison
Nathan is a stud linebacker for Bishop O’Connell who while his brother may be making highlight reel interceptions, he is delivering bone crunching hits. Nathan is also an agile fullback for the Knights and he has shown time and time again you have to gameplan against him offensively too. Besting Zach in at least one department is his GPA which currently sits at 4.11! Like his brother Nathan is gaining the attention of many division 2 level schools, including Emory & Henry and Randolph Macon. Watching his tape you can see he is a student of the game and will make whatever college he chooses for next year very happy.

West Springfield division 1 defensive linemen Brady Echols Brady Echols 6’3″ | 270 lbs | DL West Springfield | 2024 VA has been one of my favorite prospects to cover, ever since I began working for Prepredzone. The stallwart all state candidate Echols is poised to lead the Spartans back into the District playoffs, this time in hopes of taking down the favorites South County Stallions. Echols commited to William and Mary last month, this should be one less distraction in his already very busy schedule. If he does not lead the district in sacks this year I would be surprised.

Fairfax is coming off one of their best seasons in school history, advancing all the way to the State semi-finals, where they fell to James Madison. How do you replace a player like Tony Rojas (and many more) you bring in arguably the top recruit in the country in Kristopher Jones Kristopher Jones 6’2″ | 225 lbs | LB Mountain View | 2024 State VA . The Georgia Bulldog Commit Jones is a man among boys out their, the Fairfax faithful should be in for a treat.

Highlights
Matt Harper
Matt Harper
We haven’t talked about yet but the Patriots defense between Adam Badi Adam Badi 5’11” | 205 lbs | LB Centreville | 2024 State VA , Tristan Lux Tristan Lux 6’1″ | 220 lbs | LB Virginia Academy | 2026 VA and this young man Matt Harper has a chance to be pretty good. The Senior linebacker is a force and is the type of sideline to sideline backer that Defensive Coordinators dream of. The honorable mention all state selection from a year ago is manning the middle of the Patriots defense next to Badi, forming a scary duo. At 6’0 and 225 lbs. Harper is the type of linebacker that will track you down and lay down the thunder, he is a physical man. The senior to be is a straight A student and I could easily see him playing in the Patriot League come next fall.
