Conference Breakdowns: QB’s in the 4A WESCO Conference

<p>In this new series of articles, I will be posting positional breakdowns by conference so you can get to know who might be taking the field next season. For this article, I will be talking about the quarterbacks within the 4A WESCO Conference.</p>

<p><strong>Mariner HS</strong>: <em>LJ Moody c/o 2026</em>. From what I have heard from some players on this Mariner HS team, LJ will be getting the nod at the starting quarterback position. I am excited to see how LJ performs during the season.</p>

<p><strong>Lake Stevens HS</strong>: <em>[player_tooltip player_id='348171' first='Kolton' last='Matson'] c/o 2025</em>. Kolton has been showing a ton of improvement over the offseason with FSP. He has been putting on a show during the 7on7 and 11on11 seasons, making a ton of beautiful throws. He is going to have a huge junior year and will be a top ranked QB in the entire state when the season is all said and done.</p>

<p><strong>Jackson HS</strong>: <em>[player_tooltip player_id='1523671' first='Colby' last='Bossert'] c/o 2026</em>. It looks as if Colby will be getting the start at quarterback for Jackson HS. Colby has a great arm and is accurate when throwing the ball deep down the field. He stands around 5'11 but using his speed to evade defenders.</p>

<p><strong>Glacier Peak HS</strong>: <em>Lucas Entler c/o 2025</em>. Lucas is a big time talent, in my eyes. He places the ball very accurately when slinging the ball down the field. He has a cannon for an arm, easily throwing the ball 50+ yards down the field. He has great speed, being able to roll out to either side and gain positive yards if needed. He's a QB to watch this season.</p>

<p><strong>Kamiak HS</strong>: Kamiak has not officially announce a starter at the quarterback position and will not be announcing it until their offense takes the field for the first time when the season is underway. One player to keep an eye on for being the starter is Jericho Ishmael, a 2024 graduate. </p>
