Conference Breakdowns: QB’s in the 2A KingCo Conference

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In this series of articles, I will be posting positional breakdowns by conference so you can get to know who might be taking the field next season. For this article, I will be talking about the quarterbacks within the 3A KingCo Conference.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Renton HS</strong>: <em>Demond Reed Jr c/o 2024</em>. Demond has great size, standing at roughly 6'2/3" and weighing roughly 180 pounds. His strong stature helps him take big hits and bounce right back up from them. He rolls to his right very well and can deliver accurate passes when scrambling to the right as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lindbergh HS</strong>: <em>[player_tooltip player_id='868611' first='Tyson' last='Glenn-Thomas'] c/o 2026 &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='896441' first='Malik' last='Gilbert'] c/o 2025</em>. Lindbergh will feature 2 quarterbacks during this upcoming season to provide different looks for the opposing defenses. Tyson will start the year under center, providing a dual threat at the position. Glenn-Thomas is very athletic and moves in the open field with the ball well, he will likely be the wildcat option. Gilbert will be more of the passing general for the squad. Both should have great seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Highline HS</strong>: <em>[player_tooltip player_id='348174' first='Ronan' last='Rasmussen'] c/o 2025</em>. Ronan was very impressive last season for Highline. With a full off season of perfecting his craft and becoming more athletic, Rasmussen is ready to show to everyone he's taken that next step. He has been the starter for a full previous season and has been working hard since the season ended so he has fantastic chemistry with his targets. He is going to have a big season this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Foster HS</strong>: I was not able to locate the starting quarterback for this Foster HS team, but I have heard they are having a competition, so it will be interesting to see who is under center when the season begins.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Evergreen (Seattle) HS</strong>: I did not find the official starting quarterback for Evergreen HS as well. I have heard they are also having a quarterback competition with one of them being an incoming freshman. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Interlake HS</strong>:<em> Julian Hayes c/o 2026</em>. I have talked to a couple players within the team and they have told me that Julian will be the new starting quarterback for Interlake. Shelton Henton was the starter last season and performed fairly well throwing the ball and making plays with his legs. It will be interesting to see how Hayes does.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Sammamish HS</strong>:<em> Ethan Coldiron c/o 2026</em>. From what I have been hearing, Ethan will be the starting quarterback headed into his sophomore year campaign. I haven't seen much of Coldiron, so it will be interesting to see how he competes as a starting quarterback.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
