<li><strong>Timpview Thunderbirds</strong></li>

<p>The Thunderbirds got their first win of the season, and it came against one of the best teams in 6A, the Lone Peak Knights. Timpview's defense stepped up in the second half, and [player_tooltip player_id='406958' first='Tei' last='Nacua'] had a big game.</p>

<p><strong>2. Alta Hawks</strong></p>

<p>The Hawks are 2-0 after a dominant 34-6 victory vs. Westlake. [player_tooltip player_id='698401' first='Matt' last='McKea'] had another big game, and so did defensive end Leka Tu'akoi, who led the Hawks in tackles.</p>

<p><strong>3. West Panthers</strong></p>

<p>The Panthers lost a tough battle on the road to Santa Margarita 28-27 but showed their potential to become one of the state's premier teams. [player_tooltip player_id='698402' first='Chachi' last='Pan'] immediately impacted the outside while Foti Vaenuku led the defense with 15 tackles.</p>

<p><strong>4. Springville Red Devils</strong></p>

<p>The Red Devils continue to run over every team they face. [player_tooltip player_id='406997' first='Tevita' last='Valeti'] rushed for over 170 yards and had his second consecutive five-touchdown performance as Springville beat Bonneville 36-8.</p>

<p><strong>5. Granger Lancers</strong></p>

<p>The Lancer bounced back after a tough week one loss and defeated Viewmount 54-7. [player_tooltip player_id='870715' first='Carson' last='Su'esu'e'] accounted for six total touchdowns, and [player_tooltip player_id='532688' first='Landon' last='Figueroa'] had over 130 yards and three touchdowns.</p>

<p><strong>6. Orem Tigers</strong></p>

<p>The Tigers lost a tough week two bout to American Fork 24-20. Orem had multiple players with big games, including [player_tooltip player_id='406967' first='Roger' last='Saleapaga'], who had over 135 yards receiving and a touchdown in the narrow loss</p>

<p><strong>7. Box Elder Bees</strong></p>

<p>The Bees barely bested Mountain Crest 21-20 to stay perfect two games into the season. Ryan Griffen tossed two touchdown passes in the first half before Dax Sumko would score the game-winning touchdown late in the 4th.</p>

<p><strong>8. Northridge Knights</strong></p>

<p>The Knights knocked off the Layton Lancers to remain unbeaten. John Bright finished with a game-high 134 receiving yards, and he did it on just four catches to help Northridge get the 27-13 victory.</p>

<p><strong>9. Maple Mountain Golden Eagles</strong></p>

<p>The Golden Eagles are off to a great start after a 27-24 victory against Spanish Fork lifted them to 2-0. Banks Jackson rushed for over 160 yards on the ground and through the air as he guided Maple Mountain to the win.</p>

<p><strong>10. West Jordan Jaguars</strong></p>

<p>The Jaguars suffered a narrow week two loss at Davis 35-34. Defensive back Dimitir Lovio was all over the field and recorded 10 tackles, while Giovanni Polanco had over 100 yards on the ground.</p>
