The players on this list may have flown under the radar up to this point but these guys are going check a lot of boxes for coaches looking for 2024 TE’s.
Carson Jacoby Carson Jacoby 6'3" | 230 lbs | TE Minooka | 2024 IL 6’4 240 (Minooka HS) – Carson is asked to play like a true Y (playing in line with the formation) and for good reason. He’s a big body that can shield defenders away on his routes. He is built and plays like a traditional TE. He runs hard with the ball in hands after the catch. He is always looking for extra yards and falling forward often taking multiple defenders to take him down. He is equally effective in the run game often getting great movement on his blocks vs defensive ends and linebackers. HUDL
Adam Bogenski 6’4 210 (Mundelein HS) – Adam plays most of his snaps off the ball, he plays the “mover” position well. He is a big target in the passing game getting most involved in play action passes. He is a willing blocker often asked to dig out defensive ends on power or swiping across the formation to kick out defensive tackles on wham. He is an integral part of the offense for the mustangs with his versatility at the tight end spot. HUDL
Henry Harsy Henry Harsy 6'2" | 210 lbs | TE Carbondale | 2024 IL 6’2 220 (Carbondale HS) – Henry does it all offensively. Carbondale moves him all around the offense with formations and motions like a chess piece He is often split out wide at the slot position to utilize his athletic ability in the pass game. Henry runs good routes and has a knack for finding the open space in a defense. In the run game he uses great leverage to finish his blocks with authority resulting in multiple pancake blocks a game. HUDL
Jude Beers 6’3 220 (Johnston City HS) – When you turn on Jude’s film you won’t see him running too many routes. What you will see is him destroying opposing defenses in the run the game. Jude is a true throwback player, who loves playing a physical brand of football. He plays with a nasty streak that any college coach recruits him will love. He blocks better than most OL I’ve watched this year and I don’t expect much to change for his senior season. HUDL
