With that being said, I wanted to take some time to preview the upcoming season. Over the next couple weeks, I will be making my picks for some all-area/county teams for the 2023 season. To kick things off, I will focus on St. Louis County which is loaded with talent this season. With that being said, here is my 2023 Preseason All-St. Louis County offense.
While there are many great quarterbacks in the St. Louis area, incoming junior Carson Boyd Carson Boyd 5’11” | 185 lbs | QB Cardinal Ritter | 2025 State MO stands out to me above the rest. Boyd helped lead Cardinal Ritter to a Class 3 State Championship last season, completing 79/104 passes for 1,510 yards, 28 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He has a cannon for an arm, showing the ability to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. Boyd also puts a nice amount of touch on his passes, putting the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. Carson is also very dangerous as a runner, finishing his sophomore year with 32 carries for 562 yards and three touchdowns. Boyd currently holds several Power 5 offers and I expect more to come his way as he is a very special talent.
Joining Boyd in a very talented Cardinal Ritter offense is fellow junior Jamarion Parker Jamarion Parker 6’1″ | 185 lbs | RB Cardinal Ritter | 2025 State MO . Parker has high expectations heading into this season as he is our top-ranked running back in his class and second overall player. He is truly the complete package as a ball carrier with a perfect combination of vision, speed, and elusiveness. Parker has shown the ability to find running lanes quickly and once he hits the open field, he either runs away from the defense or makes defenders miss on his way to long runs and touchdowns. He is also a very dangerous returner on special teams, showing the ability to break away for a long kickoff or punt return at any given moment. Like Boyd, Parker holds a long list of Power 5 offers. He has announced that he will be committing on September 1st and has a top seven of Arkansas, Purdue, Tennessee, Louisville, Michigan State, Oregon, and Oklahoma.
Highlights
Of all the extremely talented wide receivers in St. Louis, incoming senior Ryan Wingo Ryan Wingo 6’2″ | 200 lbs | WR St. Louis University High | 2024 State MO stands out above the rest. He is our third-ranked overall player in his class and is coming off a very impressive junior year. As a junior, Wingo caught 41 passes for 785 yards and 12 touchdowns. Ryan has proven the ability to succeed in both the slot and on the outside, using his speed to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He is also very dangerous after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes and screens into big plays. Wingo is also an electric returner on special teams, returning multiple kickoffs for touchdowns last season. Wingo currently holds a long list of Power 5 offers and I expect more to come his way as he is truly special talent at receiver.

Jeremiah McClellan Jeremiah McClellan 6’0″ | 185 lbs | WR CBC | 2024 State MO is another incoming senior wide receiver that is very high on our radar. McClellan is coming of a very impressive junior year in which he played a key role in CBC’s Class 6 State Championship run. He finished last season with 61 catches for 1,103 yards and 13 touchdowns. Jeremiah is a very skilled route runner, showing a quick release and smooth breaks in his routes which he uses to create separation. He is very electric after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes and screens into big plays at any given moment. McClellan also proved to be reliable as a ball carrier last season, finishing with 29 carries for 330 yards and four touchdowns. Jeremiah holds a long list of Power 5 offers and announced that he will commit on August 13th. He last listed his Top 12 schools as Ohio State, Missouri, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Notre Dame, and Florida.
Highlights
Joining McClellan in a very talented CBC passing attack is incoming junior Corey Simms Corey Simms 6’3″ | 190 lbs | WR CBC | 2025 State MO . Simms had a strong sophomore season, catching 32 passes for 446 yards and four touchdowns. He is a very skilled route runner, showing the ability to use smooth breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. When the ball is thrown his way, he uses his impressive athleticism to go up and catch the ball at its highest point, making him a very reliable target in jump ball and contested catch situations. Simms currently holds several Power 5 offers and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to be a very productive receiver at the next level.

Landon Pace Landon Pace 6’3″ | 220 lbs | TE St. Louis University High | 2025 State MO is coming into this season with high expectations as he is our top-ranked tight end in his class. As a sophomore, Pace caught 11 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns. He is a big body tight end with a high catch radius that thrives out of the slot in the passing game. Pace has shown the ability to use his speed to stretch the field in the deep passing game and has very reliable hands. He is also impressive as a blocker in the run game, showing the ability to get to the second level to pick up blocks in open space and drive his man out of the picture. Landon currently holds several Power 5 offers and I expect more to come his way as he is a special tight end prospect.
Bryce Parson Bryce Parson 6’3″ | 280 lbs | OL CBC | 2024 State MO is an incoming senior offensive lineman that I’ve had high on my radar for a while now. Parson starts at left tackle where he uses his athleticism to succeed in pass protection, showing the ability to get into his pass sets and mirror pass rushers off the edge. In the run game, he plays with a ton of physicality, showing the ability to drive his man down the field. He also has shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in open space. Bryce recently committed to Ohio where I can see him developing into a key piece of their offensive line once he gets there.
Davis Schukar Davis Schukar 6’4″ | 270 lbs | OL MICDS | 2024 State MO is another incoming senior offensive lineman that has stood out to me. He has shown impressive versatility as he has taken snaps at both tackle spots. Schukar is a dominant run blocker, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man down the field. He does a great job of finishing his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. Schukar also does a great job of getting up to the second level and picking up blocks in open space. Davis currently holds several offers and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the Division I level.
Highlights
Garrett Jackson Garrett Jackson 6’6″ | 330 lbs | OL Lafayette | 2024 State MO is an incoming senior offensive linemen that recently jumped onto my radar. Jackson is a big, physical right tackle that is a mauler in the run game. He has shown the ability to create movement off the line of scrimmage and finishes with a ton of physicality, resulting in several pancake blocks. Jackson is also very reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge and often drops them with a pancake block before they have a chance to make a move. Garrett currently holds offers from Lindenwood, MidAmerica Nazarene, Missouri State, Missouri Western, and Quincy, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber offensive line prospect.
Highlights
Brandon Mason Brandon Mason 6’6″ | 245 lbs | OL Hazelwood Central | 2024 State MO is another incoming senior offensive lineman that recently jumped onto my radar. Mason lines up at right tackle where he is very impressive as a run blocker. He does a great job of driving his man down the field and finishing his blocks through the whistle. Mason is also a physical down blocker, showing a strong enough initial punch to knock opposing defensive linemen off their feet. He is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to get back in his pass sets quickly to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. Mason also plays on defense as a defensive end where he could also play at the next level. Brandon currently holds several Division I offers and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to thrive at the next level.
To wrap up my All-St. Louis County offensive line, I have incoming junior Michael Cunningham Michael Cunningham 6’4″ | 275 lbs | OL De Smet | 2025 State MO from De Smet. Cunningham comes into the season as our second-ranked offensive lineman in the 2025 class. He starts at center where he is an impressive run blocker. Cunningham has shown an impressive ability to snap the ball quickly and drive through his man to create movement off the line of scrimmage. He also has shown the ability to get up to the second level and pick up blocks in open space.
