Cody Ford - C/O 2024 DE - George Ranch High School - Richmond, TX - Cody Ford leads us off with our latest list of Under Rated 2024 Athletes. Ford is an explosive defensive end out of the Houston Metro area. He gets off the ball and gets to the QB very quickly in his pass rush, accumulating 4 sacks and multiple QB hurries that ended in incompletions. Ford uses his hands extremely well and gets off of blocks quickly. Cody disrupts offenses drives as he gets in the backfield on a regular basis. He accumulated 34 solo tackles, two forced fumbles, and multiple QB hurries in 2022. College coaches need to take notice of this young man because he has the potential to be a game changer on the collegiate level. I project Cody Ford as a FCS level player. Player Ranking: 3 Star Athlete.

Carter Hewitt Jr. - C/O 2024 WR/DB/ATH - Medina Valley High School - Castroville, TX - Carter Hewitt Jr. is a tremendous all around athlete from the San Antonio area. Hewitt plays receiver, defensive back, and return specialist at Medina Valley HS. He has great hands and the ability to take any pass to the house. Carter has very good speed, and completely burns defenders when he runs routes. Hewitt has great vision with the football in his hands, which makes him a dangerous punt returner. Hewitt's ball skills as a receiver translate well when he is playing defense. Carter Hewitt Jr. is an all around athlete that definitely has a bright future at the collegiate level. Hewitt's versatility could be his greatest strength. College Coaches, this guy here will be a high level prospect before signing day. Get after him now while you can! Player Ranking: 3 Star Athlete.

Brennon Allen - C/O 2024 WR/DB/ATH - Sterling High School - Baytown, TX - Brennon Allen is a remarkable athlete from the Houston Metro area. Allen runs very good routes as a wide out. His hands are very good and he catches any pass thrown in his direction. He is used in multiple ways for the Rangers and is successful in each. Vision with the ball in his hands is a strength that translates well in the return game. Allen has great change of direction speed and can make a cut on a dime. Defensively, Allen is a physical tackler in run support, has very good coverage in the pass game, and does a good job of diagnosing a play. Consistently tracking down defenders from across the field. With all of these attributes, Allen has a bright future and ability to contribute at the college level. Player Ranking: 3 Star Athlete.

Aven Lawrence - C/O 2024 DB - Aledo High School - Aledo, TX - Aven Lawrence is from the 5A Power Aledo High School. Lawrence has great pass coverage abilities. He has great speed that allows him to close the distance with receivers very quickly. Aven has the ability to hawk down defenders from behind with that speed. Lawrence has great ball skills, and had many interceptions in 2022. His press coverage abilities are top notch, and definitely a reason that the Aledo defense gives offenses so much trouble. Aven Lawrence currently has multiple D2 offers, but I project him as a Division 1 level prospect. Player Ranking: 3 Star Athlete.
