The class of 2024 has some talented quarterbacks, some of which are already committed to colleges.
Here is a breakdown of the quarterbacks who are ranked 11-15 on Prep Redzone’s top 15 quarterbacks in Orange County list.

Corin Rynders
Corin Rynders
This is a pick purely based on word of mouth and potential. Rynders is the only guy on this list to not be a starter last season.
Canyon made an effort to throw the ball and get its senior quarterback big numbers last season. There is a chance that the Comanches will run a similar pass-first offense this season and Rynders may be up to the challenge.
He has been getting good reviews from summer 7on7 events and offseason camps. He is a lengthy quarterback who is a solid athlete.
In the clips I have seen, his release is smooth and the ball comes out of his hand nicely. Canyon is in the second season under its head coach and the Comanches’ success may depend on how well Rynders performs.

Dylan Draft
Dylan Draft
Valencia of Placentia only won two games last season but Draft was able to keep the Tigers in games.
He completed 54 percent of his passes for 174 yards per game with 11 touchdowns last season.
Draft is not a dual threat quarterback but he is athletic enough to rollout and make solid throws off-platform. More often that not, he makes the correct reads in an offense that max protects sometimes with less receivers to throw to.
He has an offer from Alderson Broaddus University.

Miali is every bit of 6-foot-6 and has the physical tools to be a college level quarterback.
He has a nice and high release and showed impressive arm strength at the Prep Redzone showcase in April and the Huntington Beach passing tournament recently.
The only reason he isn’t higher on this list is the interceptions. Some of his interceptions are worthwhile risks and defensible, but some are just bad decisions. I am sure he will improve on that during his senior year with more experience.
Miali has done well on the camp circuit with top five positional finishes at multiple showcases but is still seeking his first offer.

Fountain Valley was a much better team last year than it was in 2021 and a large reason for that was the performance of Banua.
On film, he has really good timing with his receivers and makes the correct decision with the ball more often than not. He’s a good enough athlete to extend plays with his legs and find his third or fourth option.
I’m banking on him and the team improving after a full offseason with this coaching staff and he improved between the two Prep Redzone Showcases in January and April.
Don’t be surprised if Fountain Valley’s staff has more faith in him this year and asks him to do more in the offense.

Jack Stupin Jack Stupin 6’2″ | 205 lbs | QB Tustin | 2024 State CA is a guy who battled some injuries last year at Tustin, but has so much upside due to his arm talent.
There are times where he throws as good of a deep ball as anyone in the area. He is solid in play action with quick reads and appeared to have a grasp of the offense on film.
The questions I have about Stupin are with his long delivery and sometimes he eyes down his primary target. But the arm talent gets him on this list and I expect him to improve in his second year at Tustin.
