Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Miali made some big throws for the South but also impressed me with his legs. There were multiple plays that were dead that he was able to scramble and get first downs.

Miali is every bit of 6-foot-6 and has the physical tools to be a college level quarterback.
He has a nice and high release and showed impressive arm strength at the Prep Redzone showcase in April and the Huntington Beach passing tournament recently.
The only reason he isn’t higher on this list is the interceptions. Some of his interceptions are worthwhile risks and defensible, but some are just bad decisions. I am sure he will improve on that during his senior year with more experience.
Miali has done well on the camp circuit with top five positional finishes at multiple showcases but is still seeking his first offer.

Miali was the tallest quarterback at the camp and in moments was the top quarterback in attendance.
He has some zip on the shorter throws and was one of the more accurate passers. His arm strength could improve a bit and there were a few reps where he wasn’t throwing his best passes. But he had more good reps than bad reps which is why he made the top five.
