Here are a couple teams in the 4A class that could be sleeper teams to keep an eye on.
Camas HS – Last Season: 6-4
Camas was a solid team who played a lot of teams very tough. They started off slow but started to get things together towards the middle and end of the season. They are a young core that will be returning with varsity experience. Grady Millholen is a big framed quarterback who stands at 6’5″, he will take a big jump on the field this season. Some other players to keep an eye on is Dason Miller Dason Miller 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Camas | 2024 State WA (’24, OL), Trenton Swanson (’24, ATH), Nikko Speer Nikko Speer 6'2" | 225 lbs | LB Camas | 2025 State WA (’25, LB), Titan Brody Titan Brody 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Camas | 2025 State WA (’25, RB), Ryan Espinosa (’24, WR), and Evan Paul (’24, OL/DL).
Graham-Kapowsin HS – Last Season: 10-3
Graham-Kapowsin was a very solid team last year, making the state tournament and going all the way to the semi-final round before losing to Lake Stevens. They will have many key players who played crucial roles on the team last year coming back and they will once again compete with some of the best teams in the 4A class. Daveon Superales Daveon Superales 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Graham-Kapowsin | 2024 State WA (’24, QB) will be back and will regain many of his key targets, including Oregon State commit Malachi Durant Malachi Durant 6'2" | 160 lbs | ATH Graham-Kapowsin | 2024 State WA (’24, WR). Some other names to keep an eye on is Khris Norris (’25, WR), Jabez Woods Jabez Woods 5'11" | 195 lbs | WR Graham-Kapowsin | 2024 State WA (’24, WR/DB), Levi Turner Levi Turner 6'0" | 225 lbs | DL Graham-Kapowsin | 2024 State WA (’24, OL/DL), and Noah Flores Noah Flores 6'4" | 225 lbs | TE Graham Kapowsin | 2025 State WA (’25, TE).
Moses Lake HS – Last Season: 6-4
Moses Lake had a great season last year, especially in the beginning of the year. They did start to fall apart a little bit towards the end of the season but with many players returning from the squad last year, I think they will compete. Starting quarterback Brady Jay Brady Jay 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Moses Lake | 2026 State WA (’26, QB) will be back for another year leading the team. He’ll have a ton of talented guys around him like Joel Middleton Joel Middleton 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Moses Lake | 2024 WA (’24, ATH), Tommy Ransom Tommy Ransom 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Moses Lake | 2025 State WA Jr (’25, RB/DB), Demetrius Holman (’26, WR), and Caleb Jones (’24, OL/DL). Some other key guys on the team will be Elijah Burns (’27, ATH), Eduardo Uribe (’24, OL/DL), Brayden Kast (’25, OL/DL), and Corbin Reed (’24, WR/DL). This team will surprise a ton of people this upcoming season.
Olympia HS – Last Season: 4-6
Olympia plays in a tough 4A South Puget Sound conference but did play teams tough during the season last year. They will need to find a new starting quarterback but with a plethora of talent/targets coming back, whoever is named the starter should fit in just fine. Some other names to keep an eye on for Olympia are Cale Allen Cale Allen 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Olympia | 2024 State WA (’24, LB), Cameron Downing (’25, ATH), Drew Carlson Drew Carlson 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Olympia | 2024 State WA (’24, WR), Elijah Kim (’25, DL), Blake Peterson Blake Peterson 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Olympia | 2025 WA (’25, WR), Coen Cronk Coen Cronk 6'3" | 180 lbs | DB Olympia | 2024 State WA (’24, LB), and Kaiden Fox (’24 RB/LB).
