Young put up 711 yards and 8 TD's on only 36 receptions as a junior in 2022. A clear mismatch against any manned CB at the 3A level and plays with an advanced football and positional IQ. He does a great job recognizing coverage and knowing how to set up his routes off the ball to manipulate DB's without sacrificing play speed or route integrity. A well polished X/Z with the ability to run crisp routes from all levels (short, intermediate, deep). Impressive body control with the ability to extend passed his frame and adjust as needed, and is a willing blocker in the run game. Good speed for big play ability and a sure vertical threat, and also holds versatility to play in the slot as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='217563' first='Justice' last='Spann'], Chandler

Spann holds a D2 ffer from Fort Lewis and didn't exactly have a "wowing" year in 2022, but I believe he possesses a much higher ceiling. He sizes up with a really good athletic frame at 6'2" 195lbs with solid length, and definitely looks the part. He does a good job pressing vertical to get those CB's hips turned, and then shows a good transition to stop, comeback, or cut to give himself separation. Productive blocker in the run/screen game with good hand placement and a center of gravity. This will be a massive opportunity for Spann as he shows so many flashes of becoming a really dangerous player, and it'll be interesting to see if he can hit a higher window of his ability here in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='397658' first='Jake' last='Busot'], AZ College Prep

Busot was a reliable target in 2022, putting up over 1,000 yards and 7 TD's on 68 receptions. Vertical and big play threat that was a game changer for ACP last year. He does a great job utilizing his feet at the LOS to frequently get a clean release. Really good field awareness after the catch to find and weave his way through open lanes. He does a great job finding the soft spots and knowing when to call or look for ball in zone coverage.

[player_tooltip player_id='170342' first='Nathan' last='Wingfield Jr']., Camelback

Wingfield has looked solid throughout the duration of the offseason in various 7v7 events. Plays with a good IQ and does a great job at knowing leverage and identifying soft spots. He'll be touted with a big role on an explosive offense at Camelback here in '23, and I think he's going to be that reliable target and finish the year with a ton of catches. Really versatile kid as he can line up and become an athletic mismatch vs OLB's in the slot, or line up at TE and be that physical advantage against Safeties. Excellent hands to win contested grabs or catch the ball through traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='115528' first='Cameron' last='Cooke'], Williams Field

Cooke is a twitched up kid with flexible, fluid hips with excellent change of direction. Frequent ankle breaker as he put kids on skates numerous times last season, and is a nightmare to try to bring down in space. Really good speed and route fluidity to generate solid separation, and is very dangerous after the catch. He's a dynamic player with the ability to play both outside and in the slot, and even saw some reps at RB's last year. I think he could be a big difference maker for that Williams Field offense here in 2023.
