Prep Redzone was in attendance at Welch Stadium to scout the group of athletes from Kansas.

Here is a look at five offensive linemen from the Class of 2024 who hope they improved their recruiting stock during the camp.

This is the first of multiple reports from the OL/DL Camp at Emporia.

[player_tooltip player_id='1107720' first='Jacob' last='Grimm'], OT, 6'4”, 287, Sabetha

Grimm is a solids prospect from Sabetha who attended the camp. His twin brother Joshua was also in attendance. Both of them are strong athletes who have probably been running one-on-one blocking drills since they were in the womb. He is faster than his brother, but not as big. He might be more versatile than his brother with the size and speed to play guard or tackle.

Joshua Grimm, OT, 6'6”, 315, Sabetha

I scouted Grimm at the Ottawa Mega Camp in early June. He is bigger and a couple of minutes younger than his twin brother Jacob. He projects as the better pass blocker of the “Brothers Grimm.” Both young men have offers from one Division II program and several NAIA programs. They are interested in playing together, but not opposed to going their separate ways. They could end up being bookend tackles for a team or line-up side by side.

[player_tooltip player_id='676194' first='Kooper' last='Tichenor'], OL, 6'2”, 285, Holcomb

Tichenor is currently ranked No. 144 in the Class of 2024 and is ranked No. 20 among Offensive Lineman in Kansas. Tichenor is a workhorse and stood out among the group of senior offensive linemen. He moves well laterally and gets off the snap quickly. He can bring solid first impact and seemed to be very coachable during the camp. Tichenor shared that he has offers from three college programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180218' first='William' last='Kalihamwe'], OT 6'1”, 285, Olathe East

Kalihamwe is a skilled pass-protecting left tackle from Olathe East. He is physical at the line of scrimmage and has nice footwork. He has one offer from an NAIA program in Kansas. His stock will rise if he improves his overall conditioning. He is not quite as fast as I expected him to be. Kalihamwe, due to his size could also slide down to the guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183502' first='Tycen' last='Biering'], OL, 6'4”, 280, Eisenhower (Goddard)

Biering plays guard for Goddard and was impressive during the camp. He carried himself well and was competitive during the drills. He maintains solid leverage for being six-foot-four and is quick off the ball. He could improve his stock by shedding a little time of his forty and shuttle. He has one offer from an in-state NAIA program.
