With every rankings update comes new faces, either making the move from the watchlist or new altogether. We start 2026 rankings coverage with a look at four prospects that are new inside the top 50. These sophomore prospects are ready to make a splash this season.

Nebraska tight ends have been all the rave this offseason with seven TE commitments to D1 schools. I feel comfortable saying Millard South's [player_tooltip player_id='487573' first='Isaac' last='Jensen'] will continue that trend. Isaac is a tall, lengthy player with a huge catch radius and moves like a receiver. I had the opportunity to watch him a few times this summer and saw him dominate with his towering size and leaping ability. He is smooth with his route running and can create separation from defenders. I'm looking forward to seeing more of what Isaac can do in pads and in blocking situations. Tons of upside- wouldn't be surprised if he starts picking up offers sooner rather than later!

The Norris skill position group is going to be lethal this season. One player that could rise from that group is youngster [player_tooltip player_id='488223' first='Jr' last='Garner']. Jr has had a solid summer with great showings at several 7v7 competitions. The one thing that stands out about Jr's game the most is his physicality. He's not a "big" receiver but plays with the mentality of one. Garner does a good job winning contested balls and has strong hands through contact. He's a good route runner and can identify soft spots in defenses. Jr is versatile in that he can line up inside or outside and knows how to get open in both spots. Garner could be a riser this season in what should be a high-flying Norris offense.

*Position should be ATH*

Damani is a player that I'm excited to see in 2023, especially after a position change to WR. I got the chance to watch Damani at a few Burke scrimmages and he looked locked in at receiver. I don't have an exact height for him, be he does have solid length with a quick long stride that helps him gain ground quickly. He's a smooth route runner that can explode out of his breaks and create separation at the top of his route. Reliable hands at the catch point and can gain yards after the catch. Damani could carve out a nice role for himself on a young Bulldogs squad this season.

Overall: 47 | RB: 7

People need to listen to me when I say that there is some legit talent coming out of Gothenburg. 2026 running back [player_tooltip player_id='795744' first='Evan' last='Johnson'] looks like a player with a bright prep career ahead of him. Evan is a bruising back that can pound the ball downhill while wearing away defenses. His physicality is impressive to watch, as he can absorb and dish out contact. Very good balance and lower body strength to stay upright through tackle attempts. Don't be fooled though, as Evan also has the quick twitch to cut back across a defender's face and burst through the change of direction. Should see Evan get more looks in 2023!
