As referenced there is always a lot yet to be determined when it comes to the younger athletes, so expect this list to change a great deal in the months and years ahead. Have a look at the top 50 2026 prospects as we breakdown #1-25.

Complete Top 50 + Watch List: https://prepredzone.com/oregon/rankings/2026-rankings/

1.[player_tooltip player_id='284119' first='Ansu' last='Sanoe'] 6-2 210 RB Lakeridge OFFERS (9) Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee, Miami, Oregon St.

UPDATE: Adding the Georgia offer was big for obvious reasons. As of right now Sanoe projects as one of the top RB's in America for his class. Doing well in the TRL will help justify that.

Previous Analysis: Sanoe has the potential of being one of the nation's top recruits for his class. As a freshman he had 100 touches for 729 yards and 9 TDs, averaging 7.4 yards per carry in the state's toughest conference. His early offers and elite size and strength speaks for itself.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='769993' first='Rasean' last='Jones'] 6-2 195 WR Baker

UPDATE: Probably the fastest rising recruit in the state of Oregon regardless of classification. Jones put himself on the map on the camp circuit and while playing in the Les Schwab Bowl. His combination of size and speed is so unique that he could have some of the nation's top schools traveling to rural Eastern Oregon in the next few months.

Previous Analysis: As a freshman Jones earned 4A all-state honors, after running the fastest hurdle time in the nation last year among 8th graders. It's rare to have a high-profile prospect playing small school Oregon ball, but he could be that guy.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='457009' first='Sam' last='Vyhlidal'] 6-4 200 ATH Mountainside

UPDATE: This will be a big year for Vyhlidal. I would expect new head coach Keanon Lowe to consistently get him the ball and let him do his thing. As good as he will be on offense, I see him being one of the top defenders in the region.

Previous Analysis: Expect Vyhlidal to be one of the most talked about athletes in the region on the football and baseball field. He will only continue to add size on an already impressive frame, after scoring multiple TDs at the varsity level as a freshman. He will project as a 1st team all-Metro guy next season.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] 6-3 230 LB/RB Lakeridge

UPDATE: Lakeridge got a big-time transfer in Tishendorf. Most aren't aware of the significance yet, with the two-way threat still being so young, but this one hurts if you are Sherwood. He looks to be the real deal.

Previous Analysis: Tishendorf has unique size and speed for such a young athlete. He could be one of the top players in the Pacific Conference next year if the Bowmen give him the rock. As good as he is on offense, he has the potential of being one of the top ranked OLBs in the West.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='402395' first='Braxton' last='Singleton'] 6-2 190 WR North Salem

UPDATE: Singleton should get double digit touches every Friday night. Even with the Vikings run oriented offense, there is no excuse not to get this kid the ball. He's a phenomenal talent.

Previous Analysis: Look for Singleton to be a major D1 recruit, coming from an impressive family. The biggest question mark will come with the Vikings offense and how little they throw. He got some varsity time as a freshman and should be a go to guy as a sophomore.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='402418' first='Marcus' last='Post'] 6-0 185 S/ATH Lakeridge

UPDATE: Very few freshman ever start both ways in the Three Rivers League. Post managed to do this and earn all conference honors in the process. He possesses numerous intangibles necessary to play at the highest level.

Previous Analysis: Post had a phenomenal freshman season in the brutally tough TRL, earning honorable mention all-conference accolades defensively. He finished with 58 total tackles, 6 PBUs and 1 INT, while catching 26 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown. Definitely a special athlete with a real shot to play a high level of D1 ball with continued progression.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='769921' first='Silas' last='Reynolds'] 6-2 175 WR West Linn

UPDATE: Look for this kid to blow up. With West Linn likely gaining national praise in the coming years, Reynolds could be the next major prospect to come out of the school. Similar to top 2027 recruit [player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'].

Previous Analysis: One of the fastest athletes in the entire Northwest. The state champion Lions are loaded at every position so it's typically tough for some of the younger guys to get on the field. That said, Reynolds could be the exception, as he will project as one of the top football & track athletes in Oregon.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='402406' first='Donnie' last='Vercher III'] 6-1 210 LB Central Catholic

UPDATE: Vercher had an unreal off season, showcasing his skills at multiple high profile camps. Look for him to be one of the top ranked backers on the west coast, possessing elite speed and agility for his size.

Previous Analysis: Vercher has a chance to be that dude. He plays with a no non sense demeanor and comes hard each and every play. The Rams are deep and will once again be a state title contender, with DV3 potentially being a factor as a sophomore.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] 5-10 170 RB Lake Oswego

UPDATE: I could see Bell having a 1st team all state season as a sophomore. His elite speed and overall demeanor are two special traits which separate him as a back.

Previous Analysis: The Lakers have produced some of the state's top RBs over the years and Bell could be another one. Watch him on the track and you see why the LO community is so excited. As a freshman he went for 1,362 all-purpose yards and 21 TDs at the JV level.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='769922' first='Zach' last='VandenBrink'] 6-1 200 LB West Linn

UPDATE: The Lions are loaded at all positions so typically it would be tough to get on the field as a sophomore. VandenBrink is so talented that he might be a factor on both sides of the ball this season.

Previous Analysis: VandenBrink comes from an impressive family with his brother committed to Oregon St for baseball, and both of them listed as two of top baseball players in the Northwest. That said as Zach will project as a D1 athlete on the football field and one of the top LBs in the region.

11.[player_tooltip player_id='770046' first='Quinn' last='Wicklow'] 6-7 215 T Jesuit

UPDATE: This is still a wait and see but if projections are accurate, Wicklow will have a host of top universities vying for his services.

Previous Analysis: There is still a lot yet to be determined here but you can't teach 6-7 with some of his unique intangibles. One respected coach/scout says, “He's an incredibly hard worker and super humble, with limitless potential.” His basketball ability speaks to his overall athleticism as he could end up at TE. Regardless the kids a player.

12.[player_tooltip player_id='769995' first='Evan' last='Wusstig'] 5-11 160 ATH West Salem

UPDATE: I would expect the Titans to once again compete for a conference title, with Wusstig playing a primary role on both sides of the ball. Look for him to put up numbers this year.

Previous Analysis: Look for Wusstig to be one of the top athletes in the Valley as a sophomore, while projecting as a potential 1st team all-conference kid. He was dominant against his peers last season and could be one of the top dual threat kids in Oregon. As most know he is the brother of PSU commit Zack Wusstig who I foresee being one of the top DBs in the Big Sky.

13.[player_tooltip player_id='769924' first='Kalani' last='Iaopo'] 6-2 270 DL West Linn

UPDATE: Iaopo will be a force on the interior for years to come. His physical presence alone is something that opponents will have trouble with.

Previous Analysis: Most 6A programs would have had Iaopo starting as a freshman on their line, but the state champion Lions were that deep. Look for him to dominate on the interior as he could very well be a 3x 1st team All TRL kid.

14.[player_tooltip player_id='769923' first='Bryce' last='May'] 6-3 300 DL Cascade

UPDATE: This kid could be scary once he's done growing and puts it all together. We will see what type of film he can accumulate at the 4A level.

Previous Analysis: Another 4A athlete who could potentially blow up in the years ahead. May could add some legit size to his already impressive frame and is mobile to boot. The sky is the limit.

15.[player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] 5-11 165 WR Beaverton

UPDATE: There will be a lot of eyes on Luebkert after such a successful freshman season. The Beavers are not deep so he will be called upon to lead from a young age.

Previous Analysis: Very few if any freshman earn all-conference honors at the 6A level. Luebkert was a 2nd team all-Metro kid on a team that struggled, making the accolades that much more impressive.

16.[player_tooltip player_id='770005' first='Makana' last='Brown'] 6-0 180 LB South Medford

UPDATE: Super impressive kid. South could be one of the biggest sleepers in Oregon. Brown projects as an all-conference athlete as a sophomore.

Previous Analysis: Just a good overall athlete. He can play that OLB spot or be your QB. Brown garnered a ton of respect from his peers on the 7v7 circuit and will project as one of the top players in the SWC. Look for him to get in the mix as a sophomore.

17.[player_tooltip player_id='402412' first='Joe' last='Weiler'] 6-5 225 DE/OL Lakeridge

UPDATE: Weiler will likely play a key role for the Pacers up front this season, against a plethora of TRL talent. If he does well from a young age against legit competition that will be telling.

Previous Analysis: Both of the Weiler kids will be two of the top players in Oregon at the 6A level. Joe could potentially climb this list quick as he has the size to play a high level of collegiate ball.

18.[player_tooltip player_id='770004' first='Dawson' last='Graves'] 6-0 220 LB Grants Pass

UPDATE: GP was much improved last season with multiple athletes coming up through the youth ranks. Look for Graves to make an immediate impact as a sophomore.

Previous Analysis: Over the years GP has produced some tough kids and top athletes down South. Graves looks to be another one as he can run the ball, while projecting at backer.

19.[player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] 5-11 165 ATH Jesuit

UPDATE: The Crusaders have talent returning on the perimeter, with Stimpson likely being an all-Metro athlete this year if given the opportunity.

Previous Analysis: Stimpson made a name for himself as part of team Alpha, garnering a massive amount of respect in the process. This is definitely a kid you don't realize is a freak athlete. If he continues to progress, he's a potential d1 slot.

20.[player_tooltip player_id='284120' first='Drew' last='Weiler'] 6-3 185 QB Lakeridge

UPDATE: The young QB will have the luxury of playing for a Super Bowl champ whose speciality is quarterbacks. Drew has the size and ability to do well but it won't be easy in the TRL as a youngster.

21.[player_tooltip player_id='426922' first='Andreas' last='Nicolaidis'] 6-2 210 LB Central Catholic

UPDATE: Nicolaidis has legit size and speed and made a nice jump up the rankings board after a successful off season. He could play early for a ridiculously talented Rams group.

22.[player_tooltip player_id='769988' first='Taesean' last='Tarusan'] 5-10 160 ATH Sheldon

UPDATE: Expect Tarusan to be among the top DB's in the conference this year. He will need to put on some size but has the skills to do well and be a factor for the Irish.

23.[player_tooltip player_id='402422' first='Rowen' last='Lewis'] 6-1 195 LB Jesuit

UPDATE: Lewis will likely be a three-year starter for the Crusaders and a D1 bubble kid. He has a ton of potential coming from a super talented family.

24.[player_tooltip player_id='770047' first='John' last='Williams-Ching'] 6-5 180 ATH Jesuit

UPDATE: The size and all of the intangibles are there. This could go either way with Wiliams-Ching possibly being one of the best in the state if he puts it all together.

25.[player_tooltip player_id='770007' first='Logan' last='Uitto'] 6-0 160 ATH Silverton

UPDATE: A future 5A POY candidate. People have talked about Uitto's versatility and overall athletic ability. He could very well be a 1st team all conference kid this year.
