Surfing the Twitter feed the last few weeks, my next idea is to do a recruiting round-up type story. This article will highlight some high-ranked prospects that are poised to have a big season in their final high school campaign. My thoughts on mentioning these specific athletes is based on the amount of offers they have at this given moment. I feel that a good Senior Season from each of these guys and the flood gates will open for them!

[player_tooltip player_id='289682' first='Lawson' last='Lotysz']- Grand Forks Red River (OL), Highlights, Offers: Minot State & Concordia-Moorhead

Lotysz had to snap for a young QB last season. After watching his tape, he is one of the best athletes to have up front in that situation. Having a very consistent snap to help keep the QB in rhythm, but also being quick enough to be the first to engage his opponent. Add in his good pad level and muscle and he dominates the guy across from him in the trenches. If there is no one covering him off the snap, he does an excellent job climbing levels and finding the biggest threat to the play.

[player_tooltip player_id='677438' first='Tony' last='Leal']- West Fargo (TE), Highlights, Offers: MSU-Mankato, Sioux Falls, Bemidji, Minot State, & UW-River Falls.

Leal is the exact reason why I say the TE position is an underrated position in football. A TE is like having an extra lineman that can catch passes. He gets a good release off the snap and does a great job avoiding traffic to get on to his routes quick. Once he gets his landmark on his route, he snaps his head around quick and makes himself a reliable target in the pass game. Something very impressive about his game is his field awareness, knowing where the defender and the sideline is and makes great catches.

[player_tooltip player_id='447263' first='Sam' last='Ovsak']- Fargo Shanley (WR/DB), Highlights, Offers: N/A

Ovsak is a playmaker in the slot. Short passes or long passes, he can turn either into magic. Agility, speed, and vision are his three big factors in his game. It all starts in his route running. Precision and awareness help him find the soft spot in the defense and get open. Once the ball is in his hands, he is very tough to corral and keep from gaining big yards. Lastly, he has incredible concentration in traffic to reel in those tough passes in coverage.

[player_tooltip player_id='447257' first='Rayce' last='Worley']- Langdon Area- Edmore- Munich (QB), Highlights, Offers: N/A

Worley has some entertaining film to watch. Great arm strength and a pretty spiral really grabbed my attention early in his tape. Consistently hitting the vertical routes in stride with good accuracy and timing on routes. Add in his mobility and poise are two very important weapons in his game. His accuracy does not slip at all when he is on the run or under heavy pressure. Lastly, he can make plays for big gains and points with his legs if his receivers can't get open in time.

[player_tooltip player_id='446975' first='Hunter' last='Corbin']- Mandan (OL/DL), Highlights, Offers: Northern State, Minot State, & SMSU.

Corbin has one mentality on the defensive line; hit every wrong colored jersey in his path. Ballcarrier, route runner, or blocker, they were getting hit by Corbin. With his quick first step and ferocity off the snap, he is relentless until he gets to the ballcarrier and makes the tackle. Having the awareness to not fly up the field when unblocked and finding the ball. His hand technique gets him off blocks quick as well. Offensively, he has the same mentality and that sparks the run game.

[player_tooltip player_id='289681' first='Jack' last='Simmers']- Grand Forks Central (ATH), Highlights, Offers: N/A

Simmers has fun tape to watch, because he plays so many positions, and plays them effectively. The kid can flat out play ball and make plays. Showing his playmaking ability both split out wide and in the backfield with his speed and vision. Offense or Special Teams, once he has he ball, he finds his blocks and his path to the open field. Flashing his hands in traffic, elevating over the defender and reeling the pass in. Lastly, he has a good deal of muscle to grind out yards in the pile.

[player_tooltip player_id='294153' first='Tyson' last='Ruzicka']- Minot (RB/DB), Highlights, Offers: N/A

Ruzicka gives off the old-school type RB. All business with a little flare in his style. Once he takes the handoff, he is attacking his gap and finding the open space around it. If there isn't a lot of space, he runs through people to get space. His vision and grit finds the open space and his one-cut mentality helps him gain as many yards as possible. Lastly, his balance and speed make him a very tough ballcarrier to bring down, especially in short yardage situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='677170' first='Zach' last='Lilly']- Fargo Davies (LB), Highlights, Offers: N/A

Lilly is the type of athlete that makes defense exciting. The key factor in his game is his play speed. It really seems that once he identifies the play, he is a bullet out of a gun to the football. Blitzing off the edge, he takes good angles to put pressure on the QB and cause the offense problems. Using his shoulder pad helps him make tackles look easy. Lastly, his physicality is a big factor for him on both sides of the ball. Running the ball or making tackles, he is a physical ball player.
