Continue ReadingToday, we’re looking at which prospects from around Canada are beginning to see their stock rise. These guys have shown a boatload of potential on film and should be on college recruiters’ radars. Oddly enough, three of the prospects hail from one school (Dakota Collegiate).
Nonetheless, each prospect featured in this report has made their presence felt for their respective programs and are names to monitor this season and beyond. As always, If you have someone you think I need to see, please DM them to me on Twitter at @hsfbscout!
ATH: John Boubard, 5’9″ 155, Dakota Collegiate
An offensive weapon who can line up in the backfield or in the slot and generate an explosive play. He’s got strong hands, terrific concentration, and isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder & get physical near the goalline. He shows good top-end speed, he can stop on a dime & cutback across the grain at any moment and is a strong runner between the tackles despite his size. This is a talented scatback who needs to add some weight but has a diverse skill-set with the football in his hands.
RB: Brock Greaves Brock Greaves 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH Grant Park | 2025 State CAD 6′ 170, Grant Park
Greaves totaled 1,066 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022. After the catch, he displayed outstanding acceleration and excellent balance with the football. He’s got easy change of direction, a big catch radius, and refined deep ball tracking ability. He knows how to highpoint the football and he can set up an offense in plus territory as a returner.
WR: Mikun Odunuga Mikun Odunuga 5'10" | 160 lbs | WR Dakota Collegiate | 2025 State CAD , 5’10” 160, Dakota Collegiate
Mikun is one tough man to stop with a full head of steam coming at you. This young man plucks the football out of the air and looks to get vertical immediately following a reception. He can make defenders miss in space and accelerates out of his cuts at the top of his route. He has a good feel for zone coverage, he’ll get friendly to his quarterback on the scramble drill, and is effective working all three levels of the field.
EDGE: Destiny Okedara Destiny Okedara 6'4" | 240 lbs | DL Dakota Collegiate | 2025 State CAD 6’3″ 210, Dakota Collegiate
Okedara played 2022 with his hand in the dirt, but I think based on his frame and skill-set he projects as a stand-up rusher at the next level. On tape, he’s firm against the run, he can get low & dip and rip through tighter gaps and can quickly detach himself from one on one blocks. He’s got the body control to make tackles out of awkward body positions and has a ruthless motor as a pass rusher.
