Cyril Shneider
Shneider is an imposing force at the middle linebacker spot. With great size at 6’2, 225 pounds he has great vision in picking up reads in the run game. With good solid lateral movement Shneider spearheads the defense. Shneider comes with a high football IQ and is often given the task to spy opposing teams athletic QB’s.
Shabanov is one of the more athletic outside linebackers you’re going to when looking throughout Canada. With elite speed and ability to cut on a dime, it’s not very often you see a ball carrier shaking his way past Shabanov. He’s also one of the more active blitzers you’re going to find across the country, and there is certainly a reason for that.
Bouthot in my opinion, is one of the best OLB in the country for the class of 2024. At 6’2, 210-pounds you can line the “French bullet” inside or out and he’s going to cause defenses nightmares. Speaking to one of Bouthot’s former coaches he mentioned that he may be the smartest defensive player he’s ever coached and that also happens to be the case in the classroom. Bouthot is a playmaker in every aspect of the game, whether it’s jumping into pass coverage playing the deep thirds a strong safety, or stunting the gaps, you can play him just about anywhere on the defense.
Andre is arguably a top three linebacker in the country. The London Mustangs LB stands in at about 6’1, 220-pounds and provides elite speed and strength to the defense. Andre is a guy who is going to get active between the guards and is also someone who has a good level of understanding of opposing teams offenses. Whether, it’s jumping up to break up the screen play, or causing enough pressure in the backfield to turn it into a broken play for the offense, Andre is one of the best Canada has to offer on the defensive side of the ball.
