Ike already has great physical traits, and I think his game is coming along nicely. His film is a good display of taking on and shedding blocks, and intense pursuit of the ballcarrier. He reads his keys really quickly, and I really like how sure of a tackler he is. I trust Milford’s development program, and think he will continue to evolve into a really good LB prospect. In his sophomore season, Ike ended up with 56 tackles, and had 2 forced fumbles and 4 sacks. I think all of this goes up as he takes on a bigger role, so keep an eye out for this rising 2025 LB.

River is still a work in progress, but I do like where he is heading as a playmaker. He’s another guy that is really tough to block, and he always seems to shed blocks and get to the point of attack quickly. He is improving on his football IQ, as he does tend to read the play well and get to his spot. His film doesn’t show a ton on pass drops, so I don’t know how well rounded he is quite yet, but as long as he continues to work on both aspects of his game, he will end up being a problem for offenses soon!
Hunter is a guy I am a huge believer in, and may be one of the most underrated players on the west side of the state. He shoots out of the gates with a huge burst of speed, is impossible to block, and delivers huge hits. The pursuit is unmatched, and he is a TFL machine. His football IQ is through the roof, as he is able to diagnose the play quickly and is in position before anyone else knows what is going on. He led a very impressive defensive unit for Belding last season as a sophomore, and he is poised to take another step up. Colleges need to get their eyes on this guy, as I think if he got in a college weight room, he could become a great hidden gem pickup.

If you’re looking for a hardnose player, this is your guy. A linebacker that can slide down to the trenches and still be an impact player, and disrupts play after play. He does a really good job of sensing where the blocking scheme is trying to get him to go, and he fights against it and makes a ton of plays. I think as his physical traits continue to develop along with the X’s and O’s, Goosen could have a breakout season, and put himself in the conversation for a lot of D2 schools, or better depending on his progression.

Kasin is a work in progress that I am excited to see the evolution of. Physically he doesn’t jump out as a freak athlete, but you can tell he has put in the work to improve, and as he continues to do so, it will pair well with his natural senses at the position. He has the instincts that you just can’t teach. He impressed me on film getting to the point of attack quickly just on play recognition. Look for Kasin to continue to develop and possibly grind his way to the next level just based on his work ethic if he keeps putting in the effort!
Muskegon is known for producing talent, and I think Speech is another really gifted athlete for them. His first step is really good off the ball, and he flies to the point of attack. His strength is obvious, and shuts plays down before they ever really get started. He’s got a great linebacker frame, which is a great touch. All in all I think Speech is going to give a lot of offenses problems this year and next year, and bolster himself to the conversation, and will likely shoot up the PRZ Rankings.
