Roy QB: [player_tooltip player_id='698478' first='Dru' last='Gardner'] vs. American Fork QB: Dylan Story

Both Quarterbacks look to get things going in the passing game. Gardner's sophomore performance has made him a top QB prospect in his 2025 class in the state of Utah with his arm strength and mobility around the pocket. Story is another impressive prospect at the QB position looking to get things going in the air for the Cavemen.

American Fork OL: Jaybian Na'a vs. Roy EDGE: Maxx Johnson

Na'a is a prospect in the 2026 class looking to build off an impressive freshman year. He looks to be a potential two way linemen for the Cavemen in years to come. He'll line up against Johnson, who's has the size, burst and UOH to be one of the top pass rushers in the state. This matchup on the edge will be fun to watch.

Roy OL: Jaxton Wilberg vs. American Fork DL: [player_tooltip player_id='875588' first='Waki' last='Fulilangi']

Wilberg is an under the radar prospect with size and toughness to play along the LOS. He'll look to up against Fulilangi, who's on the radar of a couple of college programs with his strength and burst to be a disruptive player in the interior. Things will look to get dirty inside the trenches.

Roy OL: [player_tooltip player_id='698343' first='Cade' last='Draper'] vs. American Fork DL: [player_tooltip player_id='684165' first='Zion' last='Kongaika']

Draper is an under the radar prospect that has made impressive strides in the off season. His size, hands, and footwork should get your attention when he takes the field at the Center position. He'll go up against Kongaika, a stout defender with strength looking to cause havoc in the interior. Another matchup to watch inside the trenches.

Roy WR: [player_tooltip player_id='698249' first='Robert' last='Young'] vs. American Fork DB: [player_tooltip player_id='681355' first='Caleb' last='Peterson']

Young has been a playmaker for the Royals with speed and quickness. The athletic receiver has the hands and footwork to give defenders a problem in the open field. Looking for him in the secondary is Peterson, who is a complete ball hawk at the safety position. Peterson is also a sure tackler that can make the play at the LOS and the open field. This matchup in the open field will be one you can't miss.
