Elijah Edon Elijah Edon 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Eastern Hancock | 2026 State IN – Eastern Hancock – QB – 5’10” 170lbs
Edon heads into his sophomore year with all eyes on him after a fairly promising freshman year. A year that started up and down, but got smoother and better as the year went on. Edon has a ton of arm talent that allows him to make some pretty good throws off-platform. He’s able to throw guys open and drop it in over the top to where only his guy can get it. I do think his mechanics need some work, but with the raw arm talent he has, he should be fine as the rest of his game catches up. He seems to be a smart player who learns rather quickly as well. As a freshman in 11 games, Edon threw for 1525 yards and 19 TDs while completing 53% of his throws. If Edon is able to take another step this fall, he could really begin to elevate that program as a whole. He’s talented enough to make others around him better and should be much more confident in the playbook as well. Edon’s a small school QB who has a chance to make a big mark starting this fall.

Hawk Sack Hawk Sack 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Westfield | 2026 State IN – Westfield – LB – 6’0″ 215lbs
Sack is a fairly impressive young LB who is incredibly physical, and then has the size to match his playstyle. He’s a fairly explosive runner off the line as well, so when he’s blitzing he gets home in a hurry. He’s good on the edge and forces the tackle to properly gain depth otherwise Sack bullrushes them backward. He’s got the athleticism to be good in coverage as well. Whether it be man or zone, I do think he’s a bit raw but could easily flourish and become a hybrid-type player. He’s young, feels ahead of physical development, and yet has plenty of time to keep growing and developing, so there’s no telling what he could be as a senior. I can’t imagine it takes long for him to find a role on Varsity this fall if he hasn’t already forced their hand. Sack is someone schools should circle now because his time is coming, and they shouldn’t miss out on him.

Trent Smith Trent Smith 6'2" | 190 lbs | K Hamilton Southeastern | 2026 State IN – Hamilton Southeastern – K – 6’2″ 190lbs
Smith is a young and big-legged kicker who has an incredibly bright future at the position. As a freshman, he was easily kicking kick-offs through the endzone and setting up touchbacks. He’s a big kicker as well, the 6’2″ 190lbs is obvious when he lines up, which I imagine really helps his power department. Some kickers seem to strain when they’re kicking, and some guys make it look easy. To this point, Smith has made it look effortless. Not just in the kickoff department, but in field goals as well. Smith has a consistent swing and hits the ball properly every time. I imagine this fall he’s going to become the Varsity kicker and prove to be a pretty big weapon for them. Knowing all you need to do to guarantee 3 points is get it to the 30-yard line in High School is a big advantage. Smith is going to make some school’s life a little bit better in a few years when he graduates.

David Callison David Callison 5'11" | 160 lbs | QB Northrop | 2026 State IN – Northrop – QB – 5’10” 155lbs
Callison heads to Northrop with 1 thing on his mind. To earn the starting job this fall. After sitting behind a star QB his freshman year, I’m sure he picked up quite a bit of knowledge and little things to have success on his own. He’s got a decent arm and can make just about any throw you want. He’s a good athlete who can step up and avoid pressure or simply take off and run. He had a really good spring and summer that should catapult him right into this fall. Northrop has one of, if not the best WR in the 2026 class in Jerquaden Guilford Jerquaden Guilford 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Northrop | 2026 State IN , so he should really help take the stress off of whoever wins the QB battle. Callison being young, having a good arm, and the chemistry with Guilford should help quite a bit. Regardless of what happens in the immediate future at QB, Callison is a name to watch over the coming years. Especially, if he starts this fall and lights it up.
