IOWA CITY, Iowa – We've reached July. A new high school football season is right around the corner. It will be here before we know it.

To help get us prepared, we're listing seven top players returning at each position in all seven classes. You can read about the positions we've covered at the links above.

We've reached the O-Line. Next up is Class 1A:

[player_tooltip player_id='156618' first='Mason' last='Knipp'], '24, Waterloo Columbus - Knipp (6-3, 235) was the only non-senior O-Lineman on the IPSWA 1A all-state first-team in '22. He reports a collection of smaller school scholarship offers so far. Calling him physical would be an understatement after watching his junior highlights. He also plays fast and finishes blocks. He appears to overwhelm opponents on almost all of the clips.

[player_tooltip player_id='320778' first='Logan' last='Beaty'], '24, Denver - The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Beaty was one of three non-seniors on the IPSWA second-team all-state unit last fall. His junior highlights reveal a lineman that plows over opponents. He's also light on his feet with quickness straight ahead and laterally. He already reports offers from smaller schools on the next level. More could be on the way with a big senior season.

Evan Vittetoe, '24, Sigourney Keota - Another junior on the IPSWA all-state second-team in '22, Vittetoe (6-2, 220) posted one video from last campaign on his Hudl page. It features a half dozen or so clips of him demolishing the opposition. You can see progress from his sophomore highlights. Both videos show an agile big guy that gets a push with brute force.

[player_tooltip player_id='156556' first='Payton' last='Jacobe'], '24, ACGC - The third and final junior from the IPSWA all-state second-team, Jacobe (6-3, 270) creates problems with his size in this class. He reports college interest from small schools. His junior highlights illustrate how he disrupts opponents' plans on both sides of the ball. He does so because he's athletic, strong and active.

[player_tooltip player_id='247979' first='Keegan' last='McMillan'], '24, West Sioux - McMillian (6-0, 260) performs on both sides of the ball for the Falcons. The opening clips of his junior highlights show him coming off the ball from his left guard position and blowing up the defensive linemen. He's athletic and agile with plenty of edge. Smaller four-year colleges and some top junior colleges are showing interest in him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117121' first='Logan' last='Courtney'], '24, Pleasantville - The 6-4, 295-pound Courtney overpowers opponents with his size and strength. His junior highlights also provide evidence that he's more than just a big guy. He's light on his feet, and plays with solid balance and good pad level. That shows up in run blocking and pass protection.

John Devery, '24, Regina - Devery (6-4, 235) is a solid all-around athlete. He led the Regal basketball team in rebounding (8.1 RPG) this past winter. He ranked second on the track squad in the shot put and discus in the spring. From a football standpoint, he combines size, strength and athleticism into a complete player on both sides of the ball. You can see that in his junior highlights. He could work on offense or defense at the next level. He's explosive off of both lines and is technically sound.
