Highlights
Avella has plus size for the position already and is only a Freshman. He has a quick release and strong arm on intermediate and short throws while able to fit the ball into tight windows and throw his receivers open. A true pocket passer with under-rated pocket mobility to buy time and escape pressure, he keeps his eyes downfield and is a high IQ kid especially for his age. Look for the Bishop Kelly signal caller continue to be one of the better quarterbacks across the state over the next three seasons.
Highlights
Brant is another good sized kid for a rising Sophomore and throws a nice deep ball with accuracy and air under it to let his receivers run underneath while throwing them open. He shows he can keep his eyes downfield, scramble and deliver underneath while not afraid to take a hit in order to deliver the ball. One of the more strong arms across the region regardless of class, he is a big and strong kid that flashes the ability to run when needed and can deliver a hit outside the pocket.
Highlights
Nelson is already 6’2″ and change with good size, lower body strength and solid throwing mechanics that will only continue to improve as he moves through his final three seasons for Mountain View. He stands tall in the pocket, flashes a quick release while throwing his receivers open and is able to put air under the ball downfield. Nelson has impressed at multiple camps and showcases this off-season, and joins a very solid class of quarterbacks that are rising Sophomores across the state.
