Braxton Winston Braxton Winston 6'0" | 165 lbs | DB Providence Day | 2025 State NC – DB, 6’0″ 165 (No. 2 DB, No. 14 Overall), Providence Day HS. Braxton plays with his head on a swivel and displayed good speed to close quickly on receivers. He displayed good technique and good use of arms while defending receivers, making it difficult to complete a pass against him. He finished last season with 40 total tackles, 31 which were solo tackles and 2 tackles for losses. Braxton’s high level of play during a state championship season generated recruiting interest during the offseason. He has received Power5 and D1 offers, more are expected to come in for him.
Taeshawn Alston – DL, 6’4″ 205 (No. 3 DL, No. 8 Overall), Vance Co. HS. Taeshawn displayed quickness out of his stance to make contact with blockers while moving past them for stops. He displayed exceptional speed to cover a lot of ground quickly to overtake ball carriers in the open field. He is a combination of athleticism and speed which makes it difficult to block him. Taeshawn finished last season with 67 total tackles, 43 which were solo tackles and 13.5 tackles for losses. Taeshawn’s high level of play during the season and camp performances generated a lot of recruiting interest during the offseason. He has received Power5 and D1 offers, more are expected to come in for him.
Charles House Charles House 6'5" | 295 lbs | DL North Mecklenburg | 2025 State NC – DL, 6’5″ 295 (No. 4 DL, No. 10 Overall), North Mecklenburg HS. Charles displayed good technique and violent hands to control blockers while moving past them for stops. He moved well in tight spaces to shut down inside running plays. He is a combination of power and speed which allowed him to move into the backfield often unblocked. Charles’ high level of play during the season generated recruiting interest for him. He has received Power5 and D1 offers, more are expected to come in for him.
Justin Rowe Justin Rowe 6'3" | 205 lbs | LB Asheville School | 2025 State NC – LB, 6’3″ 205 (No. 1 LB, No. 11 Overall), Asheville School. Justin displayed good lateral movement and speed to cover a lot of ground quickly to close in on the ball carrier for stops. He displayed good technique on tackles made in the open field. He finished last season with 24 total tackles, 16 which were solo tackles and 1 tackle for a loss. Justin’s high level of play during the season generated recruiting interest for him. he has received Power5 and D1 offers, more are expected to come in for him.
Trey Blue Trey Blue 6'6" | 320 lbs | OL Cary | 2025 State NC – OL, 6’5″ 300 (No. 2 OL, No. 25 Overall), Cary HS. Trey displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He maintained contact with defenders to drive-block them out of the play. Trey’s dominant play on the offensive line during the season and camp performances generated recruiting interest for him. He has received Power5 and D1 offers, more are expected to come in for him.
Dan Mahan Dan Mahan 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Walter M. Williams | 2025 State NC – QB, 6’2″ 185 (No. 3 QB, No. 31 Overall), Walter M. Williams HS. Dan displayed good arm strength on medium range throws. He displayed good ball velocity and accuracy on medium range throws that were on target. He is an offensive threat as a runner when he tucks it and gains big yardage. Dan’s play was limited due to playing in a backup role last season. There were flashes of his potential during his limited time on the field. Dan had some impressive camp performances during the offseason which generated recruiting interest for him. He has received D1 offers, more are expected to come in for him.
Devin Walker Devin Walker 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Olympic | 2025 State NC – RB, 5’9″ 175 (No. 7 RB, No. 48 Overall), Olympic HS. Devin followed blockers while looking for an opening to gain yards. He displayed speed to accelerate past defenders in the open field to gain big yardage. He displayed good vision and balance while running inside for yardage. Devin does not go down after initial contact is made. He finished last season with 173 carries for 1,466 yards and 13 TDs. Devin is expected to continue his high level of play during the upcoming season.
