This serves as an inside look at a few prospects that I’m generally much higher on than most. This time, we’re looking at a few offensive Juniors who I fully expect to break out this season!
QB | Cason Carswell Cason Carswell 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Mason | 2025 State MI | Mason | Hudl
I’m extremely high on Cason. Since I first saw him, he’s significantly improved in almost every facet of the game. He isn’t going to blow you away with his athleticism or huge arm; rather, he’s a solid game-manager type. I’ve watched as Cason’s confidence, IQ, and accuracy have steadily improved. He’s even gotten to a point where he’s calling offensive plays and changing routes pre-snap. On top of that, I don’t sense any pressure when he’s out there. He plays loose, and he’s having fun with every snap; while I see a lot of other QBs become wildly inconsistent due to letting the pressure get to them. In a year’s time, I predict Cason to be a fringe DII prospect.
RB | Alexander Guadagni Alexander Guadagni 5'9" | 185 lbs | RB Canton | 2025 State MI | Canton | Hudl
Guadagni is a major sleeper in the 2025 class. Two of the main reasons why he’s not more well-known is that he plays in a Wing-T offense with a D1 prospect at RB beside him, also accounting that last season was a down year for Canton. I’ve been lucky to see Alexander at a few camps over the past year, and his athleticism always jumps out at me. Specifically, he has some of the quickest feet I’ve seen. The way he’s able to consistently get past defenders with his open-field ability is crazy-good. Just look at the clip below; this is a borderline-elite athlete who I expect to be a great DII prospect with MAC potential.
RB | Nathan Stark Nathan Stark 5'7" | 190 lbs | RB Brighton | 2025 State MI | Brighton | Hudl
Nathan is currently a My Guy, as I think he’ll surprise a lot of people in the KLAA. I’ve seen the Brighton back multiple times this offseason, and he’s been a consistent all-around RB. Physically and athletically, he’s all there with very good power and the ability to quickly change direction and take off with quick burst. This bodes well for him running between the tackles, as I expect he’ll be able to hit his holes, fight for extra yards, and make the most of his open-field opportunities. He’s also great in the passing game, as he’s demonstrated time and time again his ability to run good short routes and take off after catching the ball in stride.
WR | Malek Farha Malek Farha 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Ann Arbor Pioneer | 2025 State MI | AA Pioneer | Hudl
Malek is an absolute diamond of a prospect who holds 0 offers, yet I have him ranked amongst D1 prospects. He’s a slot receiver that is as explosive as any athlete with the potential to shoot even higher up the rankings. His first highlight in his film showcases an exceptional release followed by good ball tracking and high-pointing an underthrown ball on his post route. Other staples of his film include a bubble screen drawn up specifically for him, where he’s able to do a lot of damage in the open field with good speed and a signature spin move. He also has quite a few kick return highlights, further demonstrating his open-field ability. I would love to see Malek improve his explosiveness and top speed. If he continues to improve, I don’t see any reason why Malek isn’t a Division 1 prospect.
OL | N-Kye Wynn N-Kye Wynn 6'5" | 245 lbs | OL Muskegon | 2025 State MI | Muskegon | Hudl
If you know anything about Michigan High School Football, you’d know that Muskegon year in and year out, has a top 5 O-Line in the state. The Big Reds are a well-oiled machine that seems to get the absolute most out of their athletes. N-Kye is a very exciting prospect in that he has the size needed to play D1 ball with the coaching necessary for him to reach his potential. I’ve talked up N-Kye a lot recently, so I feel like a broken record, but the brass tax is that N-Kye got a ton of experience against top prospects under his belt last season. He had some ups and downs, though he continues to improve his pass sets, and I’m confident he’s agile and fundamentally sound enough to go toe to toe with any edge rusher in Michigan. He’s already been offered by Toledo, and I truly see the MAC being his floor.
OL | Camden Pawlick Camden Pawlick 6'3" | 240 lbs | OL Saline | 2025 State MI | Saline | Hudl
Lastly, we have another prospect I’ve written about quite a bit. Camden has yet to get a ton of momentum from colleges or the general local Michigan Media, though he’s well on his way. He’s far from the skinny underclassman hopeful I met well over a year ago. In a few years, Camden has been disciplined enough to gain a significant amount of weight while working quite a bit on his fundamentals. Last season served as a big step up in his game, and his Junior season should show even more improvement. Currently, I expect Camden to be a Division 2 prospect.
