This past season, the Ironmen went 12-0 overall, including 6-0 in Heartland Conference play. Their offense was unstoppable, averaging over 47 points per game while opposing offenses struggled to score against them, allowing just a total of 77 points on the season, or an average of 5.9 per game.
The Ironmen had eight shutouts last season, and the most points they allowed in one game was 21, which came in their postseason loss to Wyomissing by the final score of 21-19.
The Ironmen will be under a new direction, with Carl Majer taking over after former head coach Mike Brennan stepped down this offseason.
Patrick is a quartreack we’re very high on here at PrepRedzone. Patrick has quality size at 6-foot-0 and 175-pounds. Very good pocket awareness. Good accuracy with the touch on his passes to make throws to all levels. Good arm strenght as well. Has the upside to play at the FCS level in our opinion.
Performed well on the 7v7 circuit earlier this offseason. Here is what Caleb Holfoth had to say about Patrick.rn”Patrick was a smooth operator at QB for PA Swag, he did a good job of staying in quick and concise rhythm while showcasing really solid ball placement throughout the event. Patrick made throws at all levels of the field and showed he can put some extra velocity on the ball to get through tight windows.”
Highlights
Kutcher might be on the smaller side when it comes to height at 6-foot-1 but he is a well built 6-foot-1 at 265-pounds and there is not a lot of bad weight, if any on his frame. At the next level he’ll be able to lineup at any position inside and is also a good athelte for his size as well. Great fundamentals and we’ve rarely seen him have a bad day.
Kutcher was part of Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA ‘s 2nd-team All-Sleeper team offense. Here is what Vic had to say about Kutcher.rn”One of my favorite prospects, IDL or IOL, you name it. Justin Kutcher Justin Kutcher 6’1″ | 265 lbs | OL Danville | 2024 State PA is a winner and a worker, the type of young man coaches would want on roster. Kutcher hasn’t been active on Twitter for some time, yet I know he’s still putting in work for Danville. 6’1, 265 pounds, easily one of the better interior prospects left unoffered at this point. A frequent camper of ours, I’m in his corner heavily and have no problem stamping the kid. Excited to see how far he’s come along after I attend Danville games this Fall.”
Kiersch may not be the most athletically gifted linebacker but he’s a fundamentally sound linebacker and still a good athlete. He’s one of our top prospects in the state and believe he easily has potential to play at the Group of Five or Power five level. Good size at 6-foot-1 and 205-pounds, moves very well laterally, great football IQ and read-and-reaction skills.
“Kiersch has been to multiple StockUp Showcases and continues to impress each and every time. He’s simply one of the most fundamentally sound linebackers in the state. He measured in at the showcase at 5-foot-11.5 and 213 pounds, a solid size overall. The junior linebacker possesses quality athleticism and should be able to improve on that end as well once he gets to a college campus. Kiersch has three-down linebacker potential, he shows a strong ability to play downhill against the run but can also play coverage against tight ends if needed.”
Highlights
The 2025 prospect plays both running back and cornerback for Danville – bringing good size 5-foot-10, 170-pounds to both sides. Shows quality length and good athelticism in his game as well. Does not have a sophomore tape available but his freshman tape showed a patient running back with nice vision and a quality burst to his game as well.
Aaron Johnson
Aaron Johnson
Johnson is a senior wide receiver that shows good route running abilities to go along with nice size at the position, standing in at 5-foot-11. Has a good burst to his game that allows him to explode up field once the ball is in his hands. Uses his route running abilities and athlieticsm to garner leverage and seperation from opposing cornerbacks. Sneaky athleticism is probably the best way to describe him. Tough to bring down. Shows a quality skillset on the defensive side of the ball as well.
