Who's Up Next: D1 Offers & Commits (2024- Offense)

We will see a lot of movement with the rankings being updated in the coming weeks. This off season has been telling with multiple athletes solidifying themselves as some of the state and region's top recruits.   Here we breakdown the Oregon 2024 athletes who have been offered or have committed to D1 universities. The number next to each athlete's name is where they are currently ranked. From a pure talent standpoint, he's as good as anyone in the state with the film speaking for itself. That said as he will need to add some significant size if he wants to play at the highest level. The good news for him is that he has the frame to do so.    21.[player_tooltip player_id='152354' first='Cru' last='Newman'] 6-0 180 QB Central Catholic   The 2x Mt Hood POY possesses that "It" factor and will be a D1 QB at some level. He reminds me a lot of 5-11 former Portland St standout Davis Alexander out of Gig Harbor WA, who finished 2nd all time at PSU in total offense (10,000+ yards). Look for him to add numerous FCS offers.     29.[player_tooltip player_id='291229' first='Sam' last='Keen'] 6-3 280 OL Springfield    Keen now holds preferred walk on offers from Oregon, NC State, and Rhode Island. The 1st team all-state, conference player of the year, has put together some outstanding film over the off season. Size-wise there are question marks if we are talking about playing at the highest level, but I expect multiple FCS schools to vie for his services.    43.[player_tooltip player_id='384689' first='Eli' last='Johnson'] 6-4 200 WR South Salem   Eli will need to prove it on the field, but he has had a phenomenal off season, possessing the size and genes to potentially blow up if he can put together some good film. His MVP accolades on the national camp circuit and performance as part of Team Alpha 7v7 over the last few months, speaks to his rapid improvement.    50.[player_tooltip player_id='383828' first='Noah' last='Holub'] 6-6 200 TE Valley Catholic   Look for Holub to make a big jump on the rankings board. His recent performance at the University of Oregon made everyone stand up and take notice. The 6-6 1st team all-conference athlete, impressed with his overall athleticism running crisp and fluid routes. Get this kid eating and lifting in a collegiate system and you will have a physical presence who's tough to stop.    54.[player_tooltip player_id='511294' first='David' last='Hernandez'] 6-6 300 OL Beaverton   Hernandez has outstanding size and comes from an athletic family. This is another athlete who possesses god given size and plays with a no-nonsense demeanor. He projects on offense but impresses with his overall versatility and ability to play D.    90.[player_tooltip player_id='738764' first='Eddie' last='Freauff'] 6-4 200 ATH Crook County    Not a lot of people are aware, playing for a small 4A school out in Prineville, OR. That said as Freauff was an all-state DB last season and has legit size and offensive skills. His ability to maneuver in combination with his size makes him one of the more appealing recruits in the state . Look for him to make a massive jump on the rankings board.
