Continue ReadingSimmons is a player that was a standout name at the PSR combine. However there isnt much tape to speak out there on him.
From what I did see he’s a thick interior-nose tackle who plays primarily in the A gap. He has a quick and explosive first step and can effectively use moves to get to the quarterback. He is a solid run defender that can penetrate the offensive line quickly and is a sure one-on-one tackler.
One area of improvement we need to see for Simmons playing with better leverage. He has the other tools you look for but his pads have to be lower to take his game to the next level.

is another solid interior defensive lineman who is quick off the ball. He does exceptionally well getting off the ball and can get upfield in a hurry. Especially, in run defense where he uses his hands and leverage effectively, also keeping his shoulders square consistently putting himself in position to make one on one tackles at or behind the line of scrimmage.
As a pass rusher, he loves to use that quick swim to beat offensive linemen and does a great job getting his hands to affect the quarterback’s passing lanes. Bunnell will be a huge reason why Rumson will get back to the championship game.
Cordoba is one most physically and athletically gifted players at his position. His mix of size and explosiveness makes him tough for any offensive line to deal with him. Standing at 6’3 265 pounds he the perfect size to withstand double teams in running the game but he is especially, gifted when he rushes the passer.
As a pass rusher, he has an explosive first, also he can use his hands and moves to affect the quarterback with solid flexibility. Cordoba should be one of the top interior linemen in the state next season and has already committed to playing in the FCS for the Kent State Golden Flashes.
Tyler is one of the most athletic linemen on both sides of the ball that your not hearing much buzz on. He has the positional versatility to play both lines, but he’s a difference-maker on the interior defensive line.
He stands at 6’6 340 pounds and moves fluidly across the line. Tyler plays with great leverage for a player his size and shows solid flexibility and strength in his lower half to generate his power. He’s a solid defender and, does a great job holding up at the point of attack and withstanding double teams. In addition, he has all the room to grow as a pass rusher. He still needs to work on using his hands, but he seems to be able to generate some resembles of a pass rush plan.
Tyler is going to play for South Jersey powerhouse Delsea for his senior season. In addition, he committed to the University of New Hampshire as an offensive lineman. Playing for Delsea will put people on notice of his immense potential and talent.
