He has good size for the position, is a well built kid and will only continue to pack on more weight to his frame through out college. He runs extremely tough in-between the tackles and shows contact balance, leg drive and natural forward lean through contact while always able to gain the tough yards. At the first level, he shows a strong burst, has good vision in tight windows while waiting for blocks to develop and knows when to cutback/set up defenders to take poor angles. He has a very balanced running style with both quick twitch and finesse, while also not afraid to run through contact and grit out the tough yards. He is a strong runner with quick feet through the hole, flashes the ability to break arm and ankle tackles and can adjust well to the ball in the air while turning upfield quickly. He has a downhill play style, can get off blocks quickly and shows strong lateral movement abilities in-between the tackles while able to bend around contact or run through it. In coverage, he can run with bigger backs and tight ends while understanding zone coverage responsibilities and is a high motor kid with range in space and a strong open field tackler.
