Dahlene should fit nicely in at outside linebacker at the next level and is a smooth athlete in space with a quick trigger, strong tackling abilities and is not afraid to bang in the box with bigger blockers and backs. He shows quick play recognition, takes good angles in the open field and can knife around perimeter blocks while redirecting quickly and is a very high motor kid. Dahlene had a very productive Sophomore campaign and is poised to breakout during his Junior season and should draw college interest.
Harris is a true plug in the middle of the Sierra Linda defense and is a downhill violent player that runs through contact and can sniff out screen/draws quickly in the box. He is a well put together kid that moves well in space for his size, flashes some closing speed and explodes through blockers in the box scraping to the second level. A high effort kid with downfield speed and also offering some pass rush abilities with active hands and bend, he will be one of the top ’25 inside linebackers in the state in 2023.
Mesa is one of the top multi-sport athletes in the state, and is one of the better tight ends across the western region in the 2025 class. An All-Regional pick in 2022, he is only going to continue to progress and develop physically through his final two prep seasons for Chaparral. He is a very balanced player that is not afraid to block and possesses a huge catch radius with high point abilities and can stretch the middle of the field while understanding zone coverage and when to settle while getting upfield quickly. Look for Mesa to start gaining FBS interest through his final two seasons.
