In today’s article, we are going to get caught up on the scholarship offers and commitments that have taken place over the seven days. Let’s close out our week on high note with a recruiting news and notes recap.
CJ Brown CJ Brown 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Bentonville | 2024 State AR -Athlete-Bentonville-2024
The recruiting competition for the talented Bentonville wide receiver has been intense. We have seen numerous teams that need Brown’s ability to stretch the field deep. CJ Brown CJ Brown 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Bentonville | 2024 State AR is a wide receiver that can carve you up with his speed and route running. Earlier in the week, Brown gave the Arkansas Razorbacks some good news. Brown placed his commitment with the Razorbacks on Thursday of this week. He will give Arkansas a wide receiver that can stretch the field and a player that can excel in the SEC ranks. Congratulations go out to Brown on his commitment.
Greyson Miller-Quarterback-Helena-West Helen Central-2026
The quarterback position in the class of 2026 is one of the deepest in terms of talent that the state of Arkansas has seen in some time. Greyson Miller is a quarterback that throws with impressive accuracy. He has the ability to hit his wide receivers in stride and throw them open. Miller does a good job of extending the play. He keeps his eyes down the field to make the throw. However, he is not afraid to use his legs to keep a drive alive. Miller earned a scholarship offer this week from Bluefield State University. Miller is a prospect to keep an eye on over the next couple of seasons.
Daniel Anderson Daniel Anderson 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Bryant | 2025 AR -Running Back-Bryant-2025
One prospect that is blowing up from a recruiting perspective is Bryant running back Daniel Anderson Daniel Anderson 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Bryant | 2025 AR . The offseason has been an extremely productive one from the talented Bryant running back. Anderson uses his speed well to burst into the open field. He is a nightmare for opposing defenders to attempt to bring down. A few days after earning a scholarship offer from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Anderson earned a scholarship offer from Mississippi State after a strong camp in Starkville this week. He has the potential for a breakout season this upcoming season.
Derrick Murdock Derrick Murdock 5'11" | 190 lbs | LB Little Rock Southwest | 2024 State AR -Linebacker-Little Rock Southwest-2024
Last season, Derrick Murdock Derrick Murdock 5'11" | 190 lbs | LB Little Rock Southwest | 2024 State AR terrorized opposing quarterbacks. He led the state in quarterback sacks, and I look for him to continue living in the opposing offensive backfield this season. The talented Little Rock Southwest linebacker earned a scholarship offer from Lindenwood University earlier in the week. Murdock has the speed and the ability to completely disrupt the opposing offensive gameplan. I look for Murdock to continue to earn the scholarship offers over the next few months.
Carius Curne Carius Curne 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Marion | 2025 State AR -Offensive Line-Marion-2025
Carius Curne Carius Curne 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Marion | 2025 State AR is one of the most versatile linemen in the class of 2025. Curne has impressive power. However, the speed he has is what sets him apart from other linemen. The ability to play both sides of the ball has made him a major recruiting target over the past few weeks. Over the past few days, Curne has earned scholarship offers from Mississippi State and Ole Miss. The recruiting competition for the talented Marion lineman is going to be interesting to watch over the next few months.
Hunter Marshall Hunter Marshall 5'8" | 245 lbs | OL Farmington | 2024 State AR -Offensive Line-Farmington-2024
Over the past few years, I have been able to scout Marshall on numerous occasions. What I have found is an offensive lineman that will not be outworked. Marshall works on his craft continuously. He has proven to be a versatile lineman, being able to shift from center to guard when needed. Marshall is a powerful lineman with good speed and a work ethic that is impressive. The talented Farmington offensive lineman earned a scholarship offer from Graceland University over the weekend. Keep an eye on him this season.
