That being said, the passer is one of the state’s best options for a program aiming for an unoffered prospect. Featured in one of our upcoming All-Sleeper teams, Riffle boasts an 89% GPA, a 1020 SAT, as well as a 4.70 40 standing at 6’2, 175 pounds. Thankfully, the team captain is well-known among coaches in his immediate area, the kid is just going to have to play the waiting game.
Highlights
Been a while since I last checked in on former PRZ PA Camp standout and T&F prospect Jermere Jones Jermere Jones 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Chambersburg Area | 2024 State PA . A lot to like, both in terms of tape and measurables. 6’4, 195, a big body that can absorb hits in the pocket. His prowess on the track shows up on tape, as the big-bodied QB can be deemed a dual-threat when he wants to scramble. 3.5 GPA, Jermere Jones Jermere Jones 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Chambersburg Area | 2024 State PA ‘ Twitter gives you a glimpse of how special a hurdler he is. May saw Jones break his school’s 110M record. Check out his work on the basketball court too, there’s a lot to unpack with this kid.
Debuted on our ranks as a top 30 passer back in December, Gabriel Smalley Gabriel Smalley 6’0″ | 200 lbs | QB Abraham Lincoln | 2024 State PA out of the Academy of Palumbo is still without an offer to his name. Hardly a time to press the issue, as the young man still has some offseason left to improve his stock with local coaches. Even if he doesn’t, his senior campaign will likely make or break his stock moving forward. Good thing is, the kid has tools to impress potential suitors. I’m interested in seeing how high his ceiling could be in terms of rank. I’ll more than likely see him at a Pub game this coming Fall.

Karter Schrock Karter Schrock 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Apollo-Ridge | 2024 State PA does a little of everything at Apollo-Ridge, doubling as a linebacker and quarterback for the program. Schrock’s reps at LB are more impressive than his reps at QB, which has me thinking he could be better suited for next-level ball at LB if he chooses to pursue the sport moving forward. That being said, I still hold two-way players at a high value. Schrock has a ways to go in terms of impressing coaches behind center, as most of his reps show off his improvisational skills on the run. Coaches will also shake their heads at his size for the position. Good football player nonetheless.
Jackson Landis Jackson Landis 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Hempfield | 2024 State PA is a name coaches should stash away. We all should remember that the Hempfield quarterback led the program to a #1 seed as a first-time starter. This is the type of passer that could easily see a boost in stock and rank, especially if he’s improved on his already impressive skillset. 6’1, 185 pounds, 3.83 GPA, Jackson Landis Jackson Landis 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Hempfield | 2024 State PA has a senior year under his belt, one that could have squarely in the mix for D2 offers. He might be capable of more, time will tell. Landis has made his rounds, visiting UPenn, Bucknell, and Delaware in recent months.
Eric Dippold Eric Dippold 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB Warren Area | 2024 State PA is a kid I’ve had my eye on for some time, a name I’ve shared with some D3s in his area. A skilled baseball prospect as well, Warren Area’s passer finished his junior year with over 1,400 passing yards to his name, averaging a score with every 100 yards earned through the air. He might not scream quarterback from a measurables perspective, yet you watch the tape and have respect for the production he was able to put on tape. A standout senior year could bear future opportunities at the next level.
Mark Pastore Mark Pastore 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Selinsgrove | 2024 State PA , a 6’1, 180-pound passer out of Selinsgrove High School, could see a leap into the top 25 at his position. The top 25 in PA is a could indicator that you could see play at the next level. Despite any rank we provide Pastore, he’s got local schools waiting to see what he has in store this coming Fall. Coming off a solid junior year, one that had him deal with injuries throughout, Pastore is ready for a clean slate, one that shows off what he provides as a passer and runner at the position. Local D3s are in on the kid, yet I imagine he’s going to do all he can to surpass that ceiling.
