Ottawa University hosted a Mega Camp on June 3. More than 125 teams competed and more than a dozen college coaches were in attendance.

The vast majority of participants represented the Class of 2024 and are headed into their senior seasons.

Prep Redzone Kansas attended the camp and focused on the Kansas Athletes who attended. Sunflower State athletes accounted for more than 60 of the total participants.

There were multiple players who play the linebacker position. Here is a look at five linebackers from the Class of 2024 who caught scout and coaches' eyes during the Ottawa Mega Camp and possibly improved their recruitment stock heading into their senior seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1181629' first='Carter' last='Morris'], MLB, 5'11”, 210, Bishop Carroll

Morris is a physical and fast linebacker. He finished his junior season with 63 tackles. He is a solid pass defender and finished with two interceptions for Bishop Carroll during the 2022 season. At the Ottawa Camp Morris posted solid numbers in the testing portion of the day and multiple pairs of coaching eyes were watching him closely.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180352' first='Wyatt' last='Holland'], LB, 6'0”, 185, Louisburg

Holland is super dangerous on the blitz. He has been clocked at a 4.7 second forty. He wraps up and finishes tackles. Holland is listed as a fullback and defensive end, but linebacker is where he projects the best at the collegiate level.

[player_tooltip player_id='145513' first='Braylen' last='Hoobler'], LB, 5'10”, 195, Eudora

Hoobler is a fast linebacker with really good movement side-to-side and closing speed from north to south. He racked up 64 total tackles during his junior season. The Eudora product can also be used as a weapon on offense in the slot and can contribute to special team units. He has received college offers but is uncommitted.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183991' first='Benjamin' last='Kerr'], LB, 5'10”, 190, Iola

Watching Kerr at the Ottawa Camp you could tell he is an athlete. Watching his Hudl highlights, one quickly can see that he likes to hit people. The Mustang prospect finishes tackles and reads the offense well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183995' first='Gavin' last='Wilson'], ILB, 5'10”, 205, Trinity

Wilson is an impressive physical linebacker. He can bring the wood as he finished with 71 tackles during his junior season. He timed well in the shuttle and has good vertical.
