Israel Petite
Israel Petite can be plugged in on offense or defense and become a game changer at any moment. His natural ability as a gamer makes him a guy that can make impact plays in the secondary or as a wide receiver. As a defender, he checks all the boxes for a next level defensive back with speed, anticipation and reaction. He is a player that ends up in the right place at the right time for his high football IQ preparing him. Trusts his teammates when playing deep and can quickly strike down passes as they approach. His tackling abilities are creative to take down players bigger than him with good form and even big hits that can send a message. On offense, Petite is a sure-handed receiver with track speed to add up the yards after catch. Runs tight routes through the defense, typically over the middle of the field, and adjusts his body properly to keep stride. Is able to make difficult catches in traffic with regularity on short and deep routes. Petite is one of the most exciting players in Northeast Ohio who can provide fireworks anytime the football is in his hands. As good as he is at receiver, his impact on defense is even more impressive as he prepares to show it off at camps this summer at Ohio State, Michigan, Pitt and Penn State to name a few stops with an offer to Sacred Heart to his name already.

Teairon Powell
Teairon Powell
Teairon Powell is an instinctive playmaker on defense that has the speed to cover anywhere in the secondary with good results. Able to play safety or cornerback, Powell is lean and athletic to keep his body in control to provide coverage or make a stop in his area. As a corner, he has that same body control to turn and position himself to his man to make plays on the ball. Shows good ability to go up and knock down passes with proper timing. Is able to read a play as it happens to provide relief outside of his area with good closing speed. Makes sound tackles to bring down a ball carrier without incident. Takes proper angles to attack a runner with the least yardage gained. He does a lot of things well to make him a well-rounded defender that a team can rely on. A state qualifier track athlete, his next level speed only helps his overall skill set. Powell has set himself up for a busy summer of camps to get more exposure with interests from a few schools including Wittenberg, Bethany College and Ohio Wesleyan. He is the type that can excite while performing his job at a high level.

Kian Hartley
Kian Hartley
Kian Hartley is an old school, hard-hitting linebacker that punishes ball carriers that come through the middle of the field. Hartley has excellent hand checks to keep blockers off him to get after ball carriers in a hurry. His tackling ability is as lockdown as it gets at the high school level to provide his team with a safety net to prevent big run plays. Able to make open field tackles with good quickness to strike before a player has a chance to make a cut. He does his best work between the hashes, but can surprise with good burst towards the outside to play against sweeps and short passes. Shows good ability to read linemen to key on where a play is headed. Has the ability to bring down ball carriers even when he is being blocked. Hartley has a full-frame player at 6-foot-2 and 205-pounds making him a solid wall to hit. His film is full of plays that reinforce Hartley as a player destined for the college level. He currently has an offer from Waynesburg and interest from a few schools including Bowling Green and Baldwin Wallace.

Carter Sergent
Carter Sergent
Built to play defensive end, Carter Sergent has the tools be a disruptor from the edge. At 6-foot-3 and 230-pounds, Sergent plays an intelligent brand of football paired with his athleticism to stop the run as well as pressure in the passing game. He attacks his man while keeping his stance to read into the backfield where a play is headed to react from there. Shows good ability to shed blocks with the length in his arms. Keeps a good frame against tackles to keep his position to close running lanes or prevent a back from reaching the edge. Creates good leverage for his size getting under offensive linemen when getting into gaps and standing his ground. Makes his best impact against the run, but shows good ability to pressure the quarterback. Has good speed for his size to chase down quarterbacks to create pressure. His high motor out on the field keeps him involved in plays even if the play is away from him. Sergent can play either right or left end with good results. With his good body control and good reaction time, I like Sergent’s game to be one of the top defensive playmakers in 2024.
