The staff at Colorado Mesa University had a busy Friday, hosting a morning camp at Overland High School and then participating in a mega camp in Greeley before finishing the day with another prospect camp at Riverdale Ridge High School.
The afternoon camp had attendees ranging from middle school athletes up to the junior college level, some of whom participated in the camps earlier in the day. Multiple camps mean multiple reps, leading to multiple opportunities to end up on a recruiting board.
The camp had a solid turnout with a good amount of collegiate-level talent throughout each position group. This article will highlight 15 offensive skills players worthy of attention heading into the fall.
Quarterbacks
The quarterbacks had Jaden Hoffman Jaden Hoffman 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Severance | 2024 CO (2024) from Severance, Frankie Dardano Frankie Dardano 5'9" | 155 lbs | QB Denver North | 2024 State CO (2024) from Denver North, Darien Jackson Darien Jackson 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Broomfield | 2025 State CO (2025) from Broomfield, and Jaaziah Gallegos (2027) from Riverdale Ridge among their group.
Hoffman and Jackson were on their second camp of the day, so showing off their arms was a little easier with them being slightly warmed up. Dardano stood out early because of his explosive athleticism and carried that fire with him throughout the event. Gallegos is a young player with an extremely high ceiling. He exploded onto the scene earlier in the year during the youth All-Star game that showcased the talents of the state’s future elite prospects.
