The Class of 2024 offensive line talent is one the deepest positions in the state of Texas. Here are several notable offensive linemen commitments in the month of June.
Goodacre is a top flight prospect who plays with a mean streak and has the athletic ability that enables him to dominate at his position. Willie has a great burst at the point of attack, he gets his violent hands on defenders early and when he locks down on his opponents, Goodacre is one to top finishers in the Class of 2024. Goodacre has been a mainstay at left tackle for two deep playoff runs at Guyer, that included a state championship appearance as a sophomore while protecting Oklahoma signee, quarterback Jackson Arnold. Willie has the versatility to line up at multiple positions along the offensive line, which lead to him racking up over twenty offers from programs around the country. The Denton Guyer product will head north and play at Syracuse University after his recent commitment to the Orange.

Highlights
McLain has all of the traits that franchise changing offensive linemen possess. Ronnell has a powerful, violent burst at the snap, he plays with great leverage, he uses his extended reach to lay hands on his opponent to redirect their path at impact and he can finish with best of them when it comes to delivering pancake blocks. McLain has nimble feet, he gets to the second level with ease and his ability to get out and run in the open field cleared to way for the Desoto Eagles to win a 6A Division II Title in 2022. The 6’4 310 pound giant has the nickname “Snacks”, because he gobbles up the competition and stays hungry for defenders who dare step into the arena to challenge him. McLain committed to the University of Houston, as the Cougars head into the Big 12, look for Ronnell to hit H-Town and contend for playing time when he steps on campus.

Highlights
Bell packs a powerful punch at the point of attack, he has violent hands that lock in on defenders early and often and his game is ferocious. Ray’Quan is technically sound, he plays with excellent leverage at engagement, his piston-like leg drive enables him to usher defenders of out the club consistently and he plays through the whistle. Bell sets the table quickly in pass protection, he has great hip bend that allows him to be in position to deliver a stout punch at impact and the Westfield senior takes pride in burying defenders in the dirt. Ray’Quan is staying in H-Town, committing to the University of Houston, as the Cougars are stockpiling interior linemen talent as they head into the Big 12.

Hurth brings the pain at the snap of the football, he has an explosive burst at the point of attack and he delivers punishment at engagement. Davion has a long, lean, athletic build, he has an extended wing span that allows his to get hands on defenders early on at impact and he finishes plays violently but under control. Hurth has clean, deliberate footwork, his nimble feet combined with his superb hip flexibility enables him to get out quickly to lead his backs to the second level and he plays with a mean streak. Davion recently committed to UTSA and at 6’4 275 pounds, Hurth has the frame to add bulk and remain flexible when he lands in San Antonio.
