We have plenty of elite TEs in Michigan. The top 7 tight ends all have college offers, and all have DII or better offers at that. Our top 3 are no surprise, as they've established themselves as the best of the best over the years. The next four are a bit interesting, as it includes a few guys who have exploded onto the scene and a few who have been steadily improving and have been on my radar for a while. Now, check out my analysis of Michigan's top 7 Tight Ends!

[player_tooltip player_id='248962' first='Brady' last='Prieskorn'] | Rochester Adams | Hudl

(Michigan Commit)

It's no question- Brady is the #1 Tight End in Michigan and is emerging as the #1 Tight End in the country. Adams's Veer offense allows him to line up as a dominant in-line TE. This offense allows him to get plenty of experience both blocking and receiving the ball. He's the most well-rounded TE I've ever seen, and there's really no point in trying to sell him since he's committed on a full ride to Michigan.

[player_tooltip player_id='188007' first='Dylan' last='Mesman'] | Saline | Hudl

(Louisville Commit)

At one point, Dylan was my #1 Tight End in this class. The main reason behind this was he had some exceptional receiving tape, and I still think his receiving game is as good as any. Dylan is able to run some excellent routes and come down with impressive contested catches. I personally think he'll fit in wonderfully with Louisville's offense, and I would not be surprised to see him ball out in a few years. He's ready for the next level!

[player_tooltip player_id='248961' first='Brody' last='Kosin'] | Clarkston | Hudl

(Indiana Commit)

Brody isn't utilized a ton in Clarkston's passing game, but when he is, it's usually near the Red Zone. There are multiple highlights of him going up and outmuscling defenders for contested catches. He's able to go up and make some critical plays in the end zone that will translate very well to BIG 10 ball. Brody truly blew up a few years ago, and all signs point to him having a productive college career.

[player_tooltip player_id='253194' first='Ben' last='Radley'] | South Lyon | Hudl

[player_tooltip player_id='253194' first='Ben' last='Radley']'s progression blows me away. A few years ago, I saw him as an OK defensive lineman. Now, he's a great TE with a few elite D2 offers from GVSU and Davenport. What changed? First off, he grew in both height and size. He's now 6'4", 235 lbs, and he's earned a lot of that mass in the weight room. His Junior season was a true breakout year for him, as he proved to be a physical blocking TE with a few great plays in the passing game.

Overall I think he needs to improve his athleticism to be an elite receiving DII Tight End at the next level. Though, he's sure as heck got what it takes from a physicality and blocking standpoint. Lastly, he's improved tenfold with his D-Line abilities. He's got a few pass rush moves that win consistently, and he stuffs the run well with his size and ability to play physically.

[player_tooltip player_id='654128' first='Caden' last='Campbell'] | De La Salle | Hudl

It's difficult to keep track of all these De La Salle prospects receiving offers. Just in the past month, he's received offers from Bowling Green State, Saginaw Valley State, and Tiffin. He's asked to do quite a lot in the DLS offense, especially when it comes to blocking. Oftentimes he's trusted as a lead blocker and does his job well in that regard. He's seen lining up in-line, on the outside, and as a FB. His receiving highlights are fine, and I hope to see better athleticism from him in the future. Otherwise, a great Tight End prospect!

[player_tooltip player_id='251419' first='Drew' last='Kelbert'] | Livonia Franklin | Hudl

Drew is a great Tight End who excels in the receiving game. Although he doesn't have staggering receiving numbers (very few TEs do) he runs crisp routes and his able to make things happen after the catch. He's usually seen lining up in line, and this also gives him plenty of blocking opportunities. I'm not blown away when it comes to his blocking, but there's a substantial effort put into every block, and he does his jop for the most part. Right now, Drew is viewed as a Division III prospect. Though I would not be surprised if some TE-needy DII programs offer after a good Fall season.

[player_tooltip player_id='251340' first='Jake' last='Jacoby'] | Marshall | Hudl

Jake is a unique TE prospect compared to the rest on this list because he's almost always seen lining up on the outside. He's really an excellent receiving TE, as he runs some of the best routes out of this group and has a few circus catches. In addition, Jake can truly make things happen in the open field with impressive YAC ability and speed. He's a pure athlete, with a 6'2" High Jump and 11.6 100M dash. So, he's got the tools as an athlete, but I'd still like to see him bulk up and prove his physicality before he produces at the college level. He holds a DII offer from Northwood, and I truly believe he can produce at that level with some development.
