Emmett was someone I was unfamiliar with, and he woke me up to his game! The youngster looked very impressive, showing off his solid base, good footwork, and discipline against some older competition. I think he will be a name to remember in a couple years,
Mason is a very smooth route runner with really good hands, and he showed it once again tonight. Running by defenders, going up to make grabs, and playing solid defense. He’s been putting in work so far this offseason and it’s showing! Mason will be an instrumental part of this Everett team come the fall.
Turnley will turn your head right from warmups. He’s an all around athlete, and built solid. He especially excelled on 1V1 drills in the trenches, where he was firing off the ball faster than anyone, and used a plethora of moves to get by offensive linemen. In the passing drills, he stayed home, stayed in position and made plays when they came to him. I think Turnley was most comfortable firing off the ball and shooting into the backfield, but he’s versatile enough to do it all.
Aiden is a guy I just wrote about in my last piece, and after seeing him work in person, he proved my assessments right. Aiden took on a variety of different players, with different styles, and he wound up with a super high win rate. Greenburg gave defenders trouble with his strong hands, good movement and sound technique. He is definitely a guy you want protecting your quarterback and will be a huge piece of the Everett offense this year.
