Mike Jones Mike Jones 5’11” | 185 lbs | RB Pike Road | 2026 State AL is a highly explosive running back that was a significant threat in both the running and passing game for Trinity Presbyterian last fall. As a ball carrier, Jones has an exceptional burst off the line of scrimmage that allows him to quickly reach his top speed and leave defenders in the dust. In addition to that, Jones plays with an elusive running style that showcases his agility and quick change of direction and how they allow him to navigate through tight spaces and make defenders miss tackles with ease. Jones is not only a threat on the ground but also in the passing game as well[-he has reliable hands and excellent route-running ability that make him a dangerous weapon as a receiving back. With that skillset Jones was able to have a super productive freshman season last fall that established him as one of the top RB prospects in his national class- having received offers from Alabama, Arkansas, USC and more!
Jonah Winston Jonah Winston 5’10” | 155 lbs | ATH Hoover | 2026 State AL is a versatile and dynamic athlete who excels at both RB and WR for Hoover. Winston has impressive speed, reliable hands, and precise route-running ability that allow him to consistently makes big plays and contribute to the success of his team. As a RB, Winston showcases his explosive speed and quickness that allow him to burst through holes and break away from defenders with ease, he also has a natural instinct for finding running lanes and possesses the vision to make quick decisions on the field to make big plays. In the passing game, Winston’s athleticism and hands make him a reliable target for his quarterback- he runs great routes, creates separation from defenders and has the ability to make difficult catches all around the field. Winston is already a really impressive recruit in the making- he’s picked up offers from Alabama, Mississippi State, Colorado and more!
Hezekiah Harris Hezekiah Harris 6’4″ | 205 lbs | DL Mae Jemison | 2026 State AL is a dominant DE/EDGE prospect that possesses a combination of size, length, and exceptional pass-rushing skills that came in great use last fall for Anniston. Harris has impressive size and length and can effectively disrupt passing lanes and make it difficult for quarterbacks to throw over him- he has a knack for breaking up passes and intercepting the ball at the line of scrimmage. In addition to that his ability to generate pressure off the edge is a constant threat to opposing offenses, he has a quick first step and excellent burst to get to the quarterback while being able to set the edge against the run, and shedding blocks to make plays in the backfield, Harris is a very talented prospect on and off the line of scrimmage- he is going to be a big time recruit for years to come and he already has picked up offers from Penn State, Auburn, South Carolina and more!
Jamarrion Gordon Jamarrion Gordon 6’1″ | 160 lbs | DB Jackson | 2026 State AL is a standout DB with a unique blend of size, physicality, and coverage skills that have come to great use in Jackson’s secondary. Standing at 6’1 160, Gordon excels in man coverage, using his physical presence to disrupt routes and limit the separation between him and opposing receivers. Gordon’s ball skills are a major asset to his game with his height and length, he has a great ability to high-point the ball and contest passes, often coming away with interceptions or deflections. In addition to his coverage abilities, Gordon showcases a willingness to contribute in run support. He is not afraid to step up and make tackles, utilizing his size and physicality to bring down ball carriers and provide support to the defense. Gordon had a big freshman year last fall where he recorded 43 tackles, 1 interception and three pass breakups. Gordon has gotten a lot of collegiate attention already- receiving offers from Arkansas, Penn State, Tennessee and more!
