KJ Lacey KJ Lacey 6’1″ | 170 lbs | QB Saraland | 2025 State AL has been a phenomenal player for Saraland in the last two years, and has established himself as one of the top quarterback prospects in the nation. Lacey had a huge breakout season in Saraland’s offense last fall- he posted up 3177 passing yards and 40 touchdowns to only 5 interceptions on the year. Lacey throws the ball with phenomenal touch, accuracy, and anticipation- he can complete any pass no matter how difficult the throw is and does so with incredible poise and confidence in and outside of the pocket. Lacey has an unbelievable arm and can command his offense incredibly well as just a sophomore, he throws the ball around effortlessly, makes sidearm throws, and can deliver the ball extremely well while he is under pressure. Lacey is a terrific prospect that just committed to Texas, and after he and Ryan Williams Ryan Williams 6’1″ | 160 lbs | WR Saraland | 2024 AL were able to lead Saraland to a state championship as sophomores they’re going to be a team to watch out for again this fall!
Charlie Johnston Charlie Johnston 6’5″ | 190 lbs | QB Moody | 2025 State AL is a talented quarterback that has been picking up steam in recruiting recently, and rightfully so, his film shows that he has a ton to offer to any program. At 6’5 180, Johnston stands tall in the pocket and has a strong arm that can deliver the ball all over the field. Johnston does a great job leading his receivers downfield- he has a great deep ball that lets him make some massive throws through the air. In addition to that, at his size, Johnston has a good bit of mobility to let him maneuver the pocket and even pick up good gains out in the open field as well. Johnston has been recruited well, in the last month he has picked up offers from Miami (OH) and Toledo! Keep an eye on him this fall- after two successful seasons at Mountain Brook, Johnston has transferred over to Moody where he’s sure to have a big season!

Kameron Keenan Kameron Keenan 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Ramsay | 2025 State AL is a talented quarterback that has been really doing well his last two seasons at Ramsay, garnering some collegiate attention in the process. Last fall Keenan had a huge fall where he posted up 1828 yards and 17 touchdowns on the season. Keenan can deliver accurate throws with velocity and precision, allowing him to fit the ball into tight windows and make big plays downfield. Keenan’s arm talent allows him to make all the necessary throws required of him, whether it’s deep bombs, sideline routes, or quick strikes in the intermediate passing game. What truly sets Keenan apart is his ability to make throws on the move- his mobility really allows him to extend plays and escape pressure in the pocket to then make tough throws on the run. Keenan has been picking up a lot of collegiate attention recently, he has received offers from Appalachian State, Colorado, Marshall and more within the last few weeks.

Jameson Scissum Jameson Scissum 6’1″ | 165 lbs | QB Etowah | 2025 State AL is an exceptional athlete who has excelled as a quarterback in Etowah’s offense, showcasing his talent for making difficult throws. Scissum athleticism and arm strength allow him to deliver tight spirals with remarkable accuracy, as he consistently is able to hit his receivers in stride, while also being able to thread the needle and place the ball in a spot where only his receiver can make the catch. Scissum also has the athleticisim to get some great gains on the ground as well- he is quick footed and really elusive. Overall, Jameson Scissum Jameson Scissum 6’1″ | 165 lbs | QB Etowah | 2025 State AL ‘s athleticism and ability to make difficult throws make him a standout quarterback- his high velocity passes, accuracy, and dual-sport background in both football and baseball demonstrate his versatile skill set and ability to make big time plays!
Mason Mims Mason Mims 6’3″ | 180 lbs | QB Oxford | 2025 State AL has been a huge addition to Oxford’s offense, he made their passing attack a force to be reckoned with last fall- and has recently picked up some collegiate attention as well. Mims had a breakout season as a passer last fall: posting up 2052 yards and 23 touchdowns off of 72% completion of his passes. Mims’ ability to make deep throws opens up the offense and puts pressure on opposing defenses- and not only does Mims have a powerful arm, he also demonstrates remarkable accuracy with his passes as well. Mims can place the ball in tightly covered areas, consistently fitting the ball in tight windows and over the top of defenders in coverage. Mims precision allows him to consistently deliver the ball where only his receivers can make the play, maximizing the team’s passing attack. Last fall was a big season for Mims, and has led to him getting offers from Mississippi State and West Virginia!
