We all know that this class has a lot of running backs to choose from. There are good 2024 running backs all over the country. Today we are going to dibble and dabble in a couple of states. We all know those thoroughbreds in Mississippi and Alabama know how to run the ball. Let's check it out.

[player_tooltip player_id='344053' first='Chris' last='Davis'], Picayune

Davis has recently committed to Stanford. They are getting a very talented running back that has a very high IQ. Davis has great vision when he is running the football. We don't see a lot of Mississippi guys committing to play football out West. He is going to be a monster to keep up with.

[player_tooltip player_id='346421' first='Jay' last='Stevenson'], Starkville

Stevenson was lights out at Heritage Academy last season. This season he is making the transfer to Starkville. This is going to be a scary site for 7A football. Stevenson is a mean machine when he is coming out of the backfield. There aren't a lot of guys too enthused to tackle this young man all night. Stevenson has been seeing his stock rise as a linebacker. We are still blessed to see him run the ball on Friday nights.

[player_tooltip player_id='484500' first='Kevin' last='Riley'], Tuscaloosa Co

Riley is my kind of running back. He reminds me of Clinton Portis when he was in his prime. Riley has a great combination of speed and power. He is going to be able to always have that first quick step that allows him to get past defenders. Riley is also very elusive. He knows how to make defenders miss. There aren't a lot of players that can bring him down with an arm tackle. Riley has multiple power five offers. We are anxious to see where he will play on the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='344052' first='Kahnen' last='Daniels'], West Point

You can't talk about 2024 running backs and not mention Daniels. He is one of the most talented players in this class. Daniels is super fast and good with his hands. He is an all purpose back that you can count on for a lot of different things. Daniels is a 4.5 guy that is also very strong. I love his versatility. Daniels is holding strong to his commitment to the Florida Gators.
