2024 Rankings Risers: Quarterbacks

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we prepare for our next Prep Redzone Rankings release, we wanted to preview a few of the top quarterbacks in the state.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='406954' first='Isaac' last='Wilson'] || QB || 6'0 || 165 || Corner Canyon High School || 2024</strong><br>Wilson was our top-ranked quarterback and player during the last round of updates, and that remains unchanged. But just because his place at the top didn't change doesn't mean the Chargers quarterback hasn't raised his game. Wilson was exceptional at the Elite 11 camp featuring some of the nation's top quarterbacks. He displayed all the skills and traits that made some of the nation's top programs offer him. Wilson recently committed to the University of Utah and will undoubtedly continue to drop dimes at a high level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='870715' first='Carson' last='Su'esu'e'] || QB || 6'5 || 200 || Granger High School || 2024</strong><br>Carson transfers in from De La Salle, where he diced up defenses with his exceptional ball placement and powerful arm. He throws a great ball, and his throwing mechanics are sharp. Carson's footwork is also fantastic, and he does a good job navigating the pocket with pressure in his face. He makes off-platform throws look easy and does a good job going through his progressions. The Lancers offense will no doubt leap to the next level with Carson's leading the unit.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='532680' first='Isaiah' last='Su'esu'e'] || QB || 6'0 || 180 || West High School || 2024</strong><br>Isaiah is one of the toughest quarterbacks in the state and one of the most dynamic. He can decimate defenses with both his arm and legs. Isaiah is extremely tough to bring down in the pocket and when scrambling. On quarterback-designed runs, he does a great job following his blockers and can make defenders miss with quick cuts. His accuracy at every field level is exceptional and will make the Panthers tough to stop in 2023.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='406973' first='Jackson' last='Stevens'] || QB || 6'4 || 200 || Skyridge High School || 2024</strong><br>Stevens remains calm under pressure and makes things happen when plays break down. He can deliver accurate throws on the move and does a good job buying his receivers time to get open. Stevens has a powerful arm and displays exceptional accuracy outside the numbers. He can fit balls in tight windows and doesn't get locked onto one read. Stevens should excel in the Falcons offense and could guide them to a repeat state championship this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
