[player_tooltip player_id='681402' first='Asher' last='Young'] || WR || 5'11 || 170 || Orem High School || 2024
Young's releases are textbook. He quickly wins off the snap and doesn't allow himself to be jammed at the line. Young plays the ball well in the air and can keep his balance after making tough catches. He's a skilled route runner who does a great job tricking defenses into thinking he's going in one direction before coming out of his breaks the opposite way. Young is extremally hard to tackle in open space and constantly shakes defenders out of their cleats. He follows his blockers on receiver screens and makes sure the chains keep moving each drive.

He does a good job filling holes and flows to the ball well. Coats has remarkable sideline-to-sideline speed, making him a potent blitzer. He does a good job disguising his rushes before flying past offensive linemen to bring down signal callers. Coats takes good angles when closing in on running backs and is a physical tackler. He can shoot through gaps to make tackles for loss or go through offensive linemen trying to prevent him from making a play.
