The stars were out in the group of quarterbacks that were in attendance and it is hard to narrow down the list to just a few. Regardless, here are six guys who caught my eye on Saturday.
Noah Ramsey
Noah Ramsey
Noah Ramsey out of Franklin Central performed well on Saturday. One area he excelled at was his ability to reset his feet and make a good, on-target throw. While he doesn’t necessarily have as much zip behind his ball as others in his group, his ability to deliver a pass with plus accuracy is what stands out. When forced out of the pocket, Ramsey looks calm, cool, and collected and doesn’t tense up. This is what helps him toss a good ball for his receiver to make a play on.

Saturday was the first time I have been able to see Danny O’Neil Danny O’Neil 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Cathedral | 2024 State IN in person, and he’s impressive, needless to say. The Colorado commit plays with a demeanor that seems as if the game of football comes easy to him. His ball comes out on a line and accuracy is not a question with him. O’Neil displays an effortless throwing mechanic and it’s almost surprising how firm the ball comes out of it. He appeared to be one of the more polished quarterbacks in attendance and if you haven’t heard of Danny O’Neil Danny O’Neil 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Cathedral | 2024 State IN to this point, it won’t be long until you do.

Bryson Luter Bryson Luter 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB Lawrence Central | 2024 State IN was one of my favorites to watch on Saturday. He looks the part of being a high-end athletic quarterback and he put it on display during drill work. He showed that he can remain balanced when forced to move in the pocket. On top of that, he can deliver a strike to his receiver. Luter is a four sport athlete, which goes to show what kind of player you’re getting under center. He’s a guy that I’m be watching closely during his senior season this fall. The potential is off the charts.

Jace Stuckey Jace Stuckey 6’3″ | 175 lbs | QB Triton Central | 2024 State IN out of Triton Central plays with arguably more swagger than anyone else on the field. He recently committed to Eastern Michigan and Ypsilanti, Michigan is getting a dude. Confidence is through the roof in him and it should be considering his talent level. At camp on Saturday, he showed how he can maneuver the pocket while maintaining a sound base, then deliver a strike to his receiver. He has the right blend of accuracy and velocity on each one of his throws, all while operating in an effortless manner. He’ll be a fun one to follow as he continues to develop throughout his final prep season and into college.

Tyler Adkins Tyler Adkins 6’0″ | 175 lbs | QB Martinvsille | 2023 State IN made his presence known at the X-Factor Experience, not only by his performance by his demeanor. Adkins simply has fun playing the game of football and it shows when he interacts with others. As for how he performed, he was consistent throughout drill work, placing his passes on target and with noticeable zip. Adkins showed that he can navigate through pressure and end the play with a dart. He doesn’t get lousy with the ball in the pocket and maintains a position where he can get rid of the ball in an instant once the play develops. It wasn’t just fun watching him go through drill work but also seeing how his personality plays into his game and how he uses that to excel. He’ll be taking his talents to Aurora University next season.

Jake Dunn
Jake Dunn
Brownsburg quarterback Jake Dunn raised eyebrows on Saturday. Standing at 6’3″, Dunn demonstrated an outstanding ability to throw a tight spiral with accuracy to all areas of the field and looks to be solid when forced to escape the pocket and throw on the run. There is a lot to like when it comes to Dunn’s game between his arm talent and his ability to use his legs to extend plays. Entering into his senior season this fall, Dunn looks to be a guy that could see his stock rise quickly and show no ceiling to his potential.
