Updated 2025 Rankings: New Additions (Part 1)

Here are some of the new players we added (Part 1):</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='836902' first='Jon' last='Baca'], Cleveland</strong>: Baca is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound tight end/linebacker for the Storm who will get an opportunity to become a starter in 2023. He'll camp at North Texas and Texas Tech soon. With his size and skill, Baca will likely attract interest from college recruiters soon. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='836981' first='Julian' last='Bustamante'], Deming</strong>: Bustamante is a defensive back for the Wildcats. He's been a weight room warrior this off season and could be on the verge of a breakthrough season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='837117' first='Brendan' last='Cochrane'], Cleveland</strong>: Cochrane is a 6-foot-0, 200-pound LB for the Storm. He got his feet wet at the varsity level in 2022 and he'll be another young Storm player who will compete for a starting job. Westfield (MA) State has expressed interest. Invited to the 3rd Annual Junior Day Football National Showcase at AT&amp;T Stadium in Dallas this July.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='836993' first='Devin' last='Camacho'], Deming</strong>: An OLB for the Wildcats, Camacho is another young promising player for Deming. Weight room warrior. Squats over 400 pounds. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='837118' first='Hector' last='Jasiah Estrada'], Rio Rancho</strong>: Estrada was a standout for the New Mexico Heat 7x7 team this spring. Now his goal is to earn more playing time with the Rio Rancho varsity this fall. He already has good size at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds. Invited to camp at Southern Utah and Miami(OH). &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='836951' first='Luis' last='Godoy'], Roswell</strong>: Godoy could have a major role in Roswell's outstanding rushing attack in 2023. Possesses plenty of speed. 11.36 seconds in the 100 in late April. Runs the 40 in 4.5 seconds. Only a matter of time before he breaks 11.0 seconds in the 100. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='836944' first='Keegan' last='Nichols'], Roswell</strong>: Nichols is a 6-foot-0, 180-pound LB for Roswell. He also competes in track and power lifting. Camp invitation from Yale.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='837060' first='Rudy' last='Rios'], Centennial</strong>: Rios was the backup RB for Centennial last season and this fall he should elevate to the No. 1 spot with [player_tooltip player_id='208691' first='Mikah' last='Gutierrez'] graduating and moving on to NMMI.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='837021' first='Omar' last='Terrones'], Centennial</strong>: Terrones was overshadowed last season on a star-studded Hawks team even though he earned All-District honors as a defensive back. This season, he should be one of the leaders on a very strong Centennial defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='837172' first='Gabriel' last='Trujillo'], Cleveland</strong>: Like most 2025 and 2026 prospects for Cleveland, Trujillo has patiently waited his turn before getting an opportunity to play for the Storm varsity. He's done well at the JV level and in the weight room.
