Cruz Graham Cruz Graham 5'11" | 250 lbs | OL Santa Fe | 2025 State NM , Santa Fe: Like everybody else on this list, Graham is just entering his junior season but he’s already been a two-year starter in the trenches for the Demons. Listed at 5-foot-10, 240 pounds. He was First-Team All-District in 2022. Auburn has invited him to camp, a sign Graham could become a major college prospect by this time next year. He has joined the Santa Fe 1,000-pound club and will only get bigger and stronger over the next two years.
Jordan Lucas Jordan Lucas 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Centennial | 2025 State NM , Centennial: Few players in New Mexico have been to more camps over the past year than Lucas, who is a true camp warrior. This past weekend Lucas and his family (his father is former NM State standout Cory Lucas) made the 6+ hour drive to Canyon, TX for the West Texas A&M camp. As usual, Lucas was impressive. He’s looking to build on a solid sophomore campaign in which he had 28 receptions, 421 all-purpose yards and 8 TD. A leading contender for Breakthrough Player of the Year.
Gabriel Marquez Gabriel Marquez 6'0" | 250 lbs | OL Cleveland | 2025 State NM , Cleveland: The 6-foot-0, 250-pound Marquez is emerging as one of the top young offensive linemen in NM. He capped off an outstanding spring last week with an impressive showing in the weight room. In track, he competed in the shot put at the state T&F championships. He finished 3rd in his weight class at the state powerlifting championships, deadlifting 500 pounds. He has been invited to camp at Tarleton (TX) State, UT Permian Basin and North Texas.
Bryce Melton Bryce Melton WR Santa Fe | 2025 State NM , Santa Fe: Nobody rocketed up the rankings faster (literally) than Melton, who won the 5A titles in the 100 and 200 meters at the recent state track and field championships. He has blazed 100 meters in 10.49 seconds. Right now, Melton has fairly (and accurately) earned the moniker, ‘Fastest Player In The State.’ Santa Fe will figure out various ways to get him the football this coming season. If the Demons find a QB, watch out. Melton will run by defensive backs all season long.
Kelly Stevens Kelly Stevens 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Las Cruces | 2025 State NM , Las Cruces: Because he took last season off to focus on getting bigger and stronger, Steven was relatively unknown until last December when he showed up at the tryout in Albuquerque for the New Mexico Legacy 7×7 team. It didn’t take long for the 6-foot-3 Stevens to show off his throwing arm. He excelled all spring for Legacy. UT Permian Basin and the University of Puget Sound have invited Stevens to camp.
