This batch of playmakers left an impression at the showcase. Great players in their own right, they were identified as strong performers by the coaching staff working the event. With nearly 300 prospects, I cannot catch everyone’s rep!

Scout’s Notes: Standout Running Backs
There is only really one word to describe Love: FAST. Likely the one back who was the most fleet-of-foot, in the open field Love turns the gridiron into a track meet. He is also bit slippery too. Not often did I see defenders getting their hands on Love to jam him. Something else that separates Love is his ability to make defenders miss. Fast, slippery, and has wiggle: call him the gingerbread man because he’s daring you to catch him if you can.
Guenther is a bold, athletic athlete who runs routes that are sharper than a block of cheddar. Obviously when attending a non-contact camp it is tough to see what backs can truly do at their position, Guenther separated himself by showing the potential for versatility with how he runs routes. The other noteworthy thing about Guenther is that he seemed quick. Finally, once he gets going… watch out. He is at his most optimal output once he gets to full head of steam.
Rodriguez is the type of athlete that thrives in open space. With green acreage in front of him, Rodriguez is master of the domain and captain of the ship. He makes defenders look silly because he is fully confident that he can shake, bake, and set up would-be tacklers en route to making a big play. Additionally, adding to his open-space arsenal, Rodriguez can turn on a time.
