From what I observed he did the most consistent, reliable job of jamming backs out the backfield. Dennis did a nice job of keying the back's hips to ensure he did not get shook out of his cleats. More so than his contemporaries, Obser's base did not get narrow as he was drawn to assignments or changed directions.
