The Line IA OL/DL Showcase: Standouts, Part I

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>WEST DES MOINES, IOWA--</strong> We punch in from our yearly Spring visit to The Line OL/DL Showcase at the RecPlex in West Des Moines to get some live-evaluations brewing into content this week with Prep Redzone. This year I thought it was the deepest talent pool yet in my two years of attending. Isaac showed off a gifted football IQ and a ton of feisty hands and churning feet on Saturday at The Line Iowa.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Anytime you overhear college coaches say "this kid is how old?" that is a pretty great impression that you have your presence known as [player_tooltip player_id='212327' first='Isaac' last='Beaver'] did on Saturday. He also showed a great change of directions in his lower body and consistently showed good balance in his pad-level. One thing that might help him get that leverage he gets is that his wingspan stretches out 3 inches exactly longer than his height which I found interesting.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>I have heard from a source that Vinnie is a workhorse in the weight room and watching his footwork continue to trend upwards as a stockriser in Iowa's 2025 class this Spring, paints a solid picture of this kid playing on Saturdays in the future.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='354188' first='Brady' last='Barrowman'], OL, Minooka (IL) 2024</strong> <a href="https://twitter.com/BarrowmanBrady">Twitter</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":809707,"width":363,"height":238,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2023/05/IMG_7967-crop-513x337-1682992711-crop-410x269-1682992728.jpg?w=409" alt="" class="wp-image-809707" width="363" height="238" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Brady was a offensive line prospect that was one of the best offensive linemen from a physicality perspective on Saturday and also demonstrated soundly pad-levels all throughout the 1v1 drills on a very consistent basis.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>You also could tell that before you even watch his tape that Brady is a defined finisher in the trenches as he consistently won with his 1v1 reps with his massive strength he has from top to bottom in his 6'5 275 pound frame.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Brady already has a slew of Division I offers, but I would expect him this summer to accumulate even more at the Power Five level as with his measureables, finishing ability, balanced footwork, I would expect this kid to have a massive summer on the recruiting trail.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list -->
