Time to check out some of the best skilled players West Virginia has to offer. Some of the guys are on the move going to camps this summer. Some of these guys are under the radar. Let's check out some studs.

Maddox Perine, TE, Lincoln, 2024

Perine loves to catch the ball and make something happen. He is a guy that rolls and rumbles when he gets the ball. Perine can line up in the slot or help his offensive line block. Perine has some good hands. I think he will be a college football player one day. He can make a nice defensive lineman, outside linebacker or tight end on the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='370367' first='Trey' last='Bowers'], ATH, Independence, 2024

Bowers is a versatile player that plays a few different positions. He is very explosive. He runs a 4.53 in the 40 yard dash. Bowers has a 9'6" broad jump. This young man can line up on defense or offense. I can see him being a very good defensive back on the next level. He has good hips with natural reactions when the ball is in the air. Bowers has a quick first step on offense. He looks very good at the slot position as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='979015' first='Gavin' last='Moore'], ATH, Brooke, 2024

Moore is very elusive when he is at running back. He knows how to be patient with his blockers. Moore has some good speed. He is also very active on defense. I think that he has a great chance to be a defensive player on the next level. He does a great job of reading at the safety position. He also is a good tackler in the open field.

Anthony Bachinski, WR/DB, Brooke, 2024

Bachinski is a guy that has good speed and knows how to get open. He is also a decent route runner. Bachinski is a multi sport player who also does a great job on the baseball diamond. You can see the talent he possesses when you look at his numbers from baseball. He has good hand eye coordination and hardly ever drop passes. Bachinski is elusive as well. It is hard to bring him down.

Dillan America, WR, Grafton, 2025

America is a nice route runner. He is going to always get a lot of space at receiver. He is a 6-2 guy that handles his lanky body very well. I think the 2023 season is going to be a breakout year for him. He also can go up to get the rock. He is a basketball player that gives his quarterback the option to just toss the ball up.
